The food and drinks are delicious, the service is excellent, but what ruins it is the carrion-filled odor that comes from Pilgrim's and contaminates the entire place, a horrible smell. I don't know why the local authorities haven't taken action yet, as it's certainly affecting all commerce and tourism in this beautiful city.
Our server and service was amazing! She was so good. Wish I could remember her name. Food was great except for the ceviche. We usually love it but last night it didn't seem as fresh. But love State of Confusion and will be back.
Food was excellent! Service was phenomenal! Thank you Julius for taking great care of us!!
I ordered a steak dish that's supposed to be medium well and it came out medium, but not a problem. However, the dish was stone cold, our server offered to have the dish remade which was acceptable. The manager came out and apologized and said the dish was going to be remade, The second time the dish came out was the exact same but slightly warm. It seems like someone just stuck it into the oven and the steak now was well well done and dry, very dry. if the dish was remade as promised, I wouldn't be writing this review and I would probably go back, not anymore.
Super service and a unique atmosphere that takes you to another place. Food presented well and was decent.
The food was terrible everything need it seasoning i order a shrimp po boy soo bland bread was hard. We also order the ribeye steak was not seared correctly and need it salt !!! So many things that could have been better drinks sucks too overall everything was mediocre i was so disappointing and the prices ridiculous expensive for food that need it soul and a little bit more caring for the people that work there.
This is hands down the best restaurant we have ever ate at!! Been here three times this week and we are going back tonight to eat one more time before we leave hopefully Julius is working when we get there cause he was the best waiter I have ever had!
The vibe was great and the staff uber friendly. The only problem was a friendly house fly at the end.
Had a very nice dinner with our son. The drinks were nice, the food was excellent and our server did a good job. The chicken egg rolls and fried tacos were delicious.
We enjoyed sharing several ceviche dishes, the trout, buffalo sliders, the chicken eggrolls and chicken sandwich. All in our party were delighted with our meals.

If you are looking for an eclectic atmosphere with friendly wait staff, good food, and drinks, this is a place worth trying. The only possible nit I could pick is parking can be difficult to find depending on the time of day. Excellent place for brunch, too.
Good food and vibes. Just be aware that a reservation for a “standard” table does not necessarily mean inside, even though the options are “outside” or “standard”.
The name “State of Confusion” is honestly very fitting as we had some trouble finding the host stand because the place was so lively. The food was really good though! My only gripe was that it was a tad bit too loud to where I could hardly hear my wife.
Absolutely recommend!! Great food, service and atmosphere!!! Will definitely be back!!
The salad and ceviche was delicious. The alligator bites were good, also the sauce was too lemony for us. The drinks were great (and strong)! The service was fantastic (sorry I can't remember our server's name). The price was reasonable for what we got. The desserts were oh so good and the pecan pie was so good, I had to restrain myself from licking my plate ;)
