I stay at the hotel when I'm in Chattanooga. The reservation wasn't necessary. The hostess station had a sign to seat yourself. Only one server was working. She apologized for not seeing me come in and was attentive. The bar area was full of men watching football which attributed to the noise level. In the dining area there were only 4 tables of diners. I asked the server her recommendation between 2 meals. I went with the Bison salad and ordered it Medium Rare. It took a while to get my salad, probably because the meat was well done and very chewy...bison is a lean meat. I divided my salad bowl by pushing the bison to one side and eating what was left of the salad. Next time I'm back at the hotel, I won't dine at Forge.

I reserved a table for dinner with my beloved, as we both love jazz. The night at The Forge did not disappoint. The music, the atmosphere, casual but still elegant and charming, the food, delicious, the service, excellent and yes, we will return!

Oh my! The food was fantastic. I went solo on a Friday night for the Jazz and Wine Tasting. Both were great. All the flights were $10. The red flight was perfect with a Cabernet, Red Blend and a Merlot. I also order the Apple cake which came to me looking like a real apple. It was a perfect portion and a great way to end the night.

A great idea poorly executed. The space has very harsh lighting and the performers are hidden from most of the seating. This could be a success with a little more imagination. The wine pairings were excellent and the service was good. The ambience was far from excellent. The Jazz band was excellent.

We were the only ones there on a Saturday during dinner, which seemed very strange. It was pretty quiet in there as well. The food was pretty good, but just the atmosphere kinda threw us off

Attended with a group to experience Jazz and Wine Friday, The small plates food was excellent although the dinner menu was somewhat limited. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The music was good also. Overall pleasant experience.

Walked in to the restaurant and had our pick of tables as we were the only diners at the time. We picked a nice 2 seater near the kitchen with dim lighting. Ambience was nice, our waiter was great but the food was even better. I went with the campanelle verdure (pasta) while my fiancé had the wagyu burger *chefs kiss*. The food was hot, the drinks were well made and the value was well worth it. 10/10

Service was exceptional. They went out of their way to give us a custom wine tasting flight. Food was very good and reasonably priced. I recommend the charcuterie tray and the burger. I think they do wine and jazz events regularly. I recommend this as well.

Very nice dinner! We were supposed to have the manager come for a special anniversary surprise but didn't, but besides that we had a nice time! Live jazz was great and the food and wine was delicious

We arrived 5 minutes early and were seated promptly. After 15 minutes we were asked by the sommelier if we had been waiting on, which we replied no. After 15 more minutes and waitstaff serving adjacent tables and walking by us multiple times with no one acknowledging us, we left disappointed and frustrated. We will not be back

We had to wait forever for our wine flights. The server barley came to the table. Our food took forever. $48 dollars for an 8oz steak and hardly any sides. I would never go back or recommend.

When I made reservations for the Valentine's "experience" (a pre-arranged multi-course menu), I was concerned that the absurdity of the holiday, as generally observed, would be on full display. I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of effortless luxury. Everything was wonderful--from the food and wine pairings selected by the sommelier who visited our table upon the arrival of each course, to the excellent service.

An overall wonderful experience. The food was top notch. The desert was especially first class. The chocolate dessert's flavor profile was phenomenal, with each element perfectly balanced, which elevated the dining experience. We will definitely recommend it.

came in friday night for wine and jazz! had such a great experience and decided to come again for dinner tonight. Food was fantastic both times- excellent bourbon selection as well. Manager Michaela was very pleasant, attentive, and professional.

We ended up only getting an appetizer and we decided to leave after we tasted it. The “jazz” music was a stand up base, key board and a “drummer” you had to go over to the hotel side to get a drink that wasn't wine and the kitchen was open into the dining room. The whole room smelled like burning meat and it was smoky from the grill. Not quite the date night we had hoped for.
