It’s a wonderful atmosphere with great staff and delicious options for food and drink. There just isn’t that much vegan food, so it gets boring going too frequently.

Had the burger and brussel sprouts and both were delicious!

The open sign in the back alley and curiosity led me to this bar. So happy we stopped by. It was so cool, the place is unlike anywhere I’ve been before- maybe in nyc or chi, definitely wasn’t expecting to find a bar like this in chatt (no shade). I think it’s such a gem.

Food and cocktails were top notch, and I loved sitting at the bar chatting with bartender Manuel on a quiet weeknight. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Chattanooga!

Manuel! If you get the chance to sit and talk with Manuel, consider yourself lucky. He will be honest with you about food choices (not that anything isn’t good… just more explains what is on the menu vs what you’re craving & even considers pairing it to what you’re drinking).

The wonton nachos. Do it. We had it with the ground beef and it was one of the best things we’ve eaten in Chattanooga.

Manuel also makes a serious cocktail. He is passionate about the ingredients and knows what he’s doing!

At The Bitter Alibi, the vibe is set,
A cozy haunt you won't forget.
The ramen’s wild — a flavor parade,
Like miso dreams that chefs have made.

The broth is bold, the noodles tight,
Each bowl a twist, pure foodie delight.
But what makes it shine, beyond the fare,
Are the hearts and smiles that welcome you there.

So raise a glass, don’t pass it by —
Cheers to the crew at The Bitter Alibi!

Limited draft beer. Prices were on-par, maybe a bit high. Burger was very good. Extra to add a side of fries. Bartender was friendly and vibes were good.

Come on, now. Late night noods are the best noodles in town. Good beer selection and outdoor seating. What more could you ask for, Chattanooga?

The bartenders were amazing and had great recommendations! The Fun Guy tacos and Creamsicle drink were both better than expected, noting I'm not sure what I was expecting or why 🤔😆 I would def order both again!

My wife and I have made it a tradition to eat at Bitter Alibi every time we’re in Chattanooga—and for good reason. The first time we discovered it, we actually went back twice during the same trip because the food was just that good.

On our most recent visit, we noticed the menu had changed a bit and were a little bummed that our favorite item, the Bimba Bowl, was no longer available. But we decided to try some new things and were not disappointed. The wonton nachos were packed with flavor, I had the burrito which was outstanding, and our daughter loved the grilled chicken tacos.

Every single dish was spot-on. Bitter Alibi continues to impress with its creativity, consistency, and quality. Do yourself a favor—if you’re in Chattanooga, this place is a must.
