I bought a 4lb boneless ham & a 4lb smoked turkey for my Christmas dinner. The Ham had a date of the 30th of December & the Smoked Turkey said the 25th. I called & spoke with a gentleman named Lynn & was promised that my products that I bought would be fine since my dinner wasn't until the 27th. Both the ham & turkey tasted spoiled & my guests didn't even eat much of my $100 meat that I purchased. Extremely disappointed & will more than likely never return to Honey Baked Ham! So sad, you guys use to be the BEST.

This is the pre paid line at Honey Baked Ham for Thanksgiving, never again, they are taking in non pre paid customers and only have one register open for pre paid customers, exactly the opposite of last year, I will go to the Cleveland Store from now on.
Update: Went to the Cleveland TN store for the Christmas Ham, in and out in 15 Minutes no problem at all, Just FYI

The holiday sides were very below par. Microwave prep not even to the standard of grocery frozen meals. Very disappointed from this previously reputable brand.

Update: They gave me a $75 gift card and apologized.
I pre-paid $60 for a boneless ham. I arrived at my scheduled pick up time of 6 pm and waited almost 2 hours to be told that the smallest ham they had would cost almost double, and that they expected me to pay the difference. I pushed back but was told nothing could be done. To add insult to injury, they had been taking walk-in orders all day long while not being able to fulfill their reservations.I hope whoever got my ham enjoyed it. I really feel ripped off.

We pre-ordered a 4-5 pound ham for Thanksgiving and selected a pickup date and time. When we arrived during our scheduled time we were told that they did not have our ham and our only option was to buy a ham over 7 pounds. And pay the additional cost! What is the purpose of pre-ordering and scheduling a pick up time when it is first come first serve anyway?
We also called and filled out a customer feedback form. We were told we would hear back from someone within a few days. It has been over a week and we have yet to hear back.
The experience was not ideal. We waited in line for almost 2hrs. While the staff whom assisted me were so kind, I noticed multiple times that the manager was being very rude to other customers. I'm sure it was a busy stressful day but that was not ok.
I think in the future to expedite the pickup process, HBH should consider stricter pickup times and/or an online "check in" upon arrival. Also, given that it is known to be one of your busiest holidays, additional staff would be advisable.

I don’t usually give bad reviews, but the blatant disorganization or downright capitalist tone of “We’ve got your money already, so you can just wait” was just completely disheartening today.
I pre-ordered (over a week ago) and got an app’t for pick-up. I call today to make sure it’s okay to come a little before the window (trying to fit the HBH pick-up in w/ the grocery run before my mom’s helper leaves for the day). The kind (unhurried) man who answers the phone says sure, “we’ll be here until 8, no problem”. I ask again (b/c early can cause more logistical problems than late) but same answer. Ok, let’s go.
I get there and there’s a line snaking out the door and down the shopping center. And I’m thinking surely these are the walk-ups, but oh no, it’s both, pre-paid and haven’t ordered yet. Then, and here’s the REAL kicker. One of the women who works at HBH starts getting the ppl who HAVEN’T paid yet out of line and they have a whole different register set aside
for them, essentially sending them to the front of the line for not planning ahead and paying ahead of time.
As it turns out, the lady who walked up behind me hasn’t ordered yet and she gets to go up to the front. She’s out in 30 mins and comes back to let us know the set up. Those of us who prepaid are stuck in line for 70 mins and the line continued to grow past me.
The staff was really nice despite being slammed, but I wish I had known NOT to plan ahead 😏. Also, for anyone reading the sides are not made fresh, or to order. They are boxed and frozen.
UPDATED: To top it all off, there were several shards of plastic in the cinnamon apples. 😔
Ordered & pre-paid for 8lb ham, scheduled p/u time for 3:30. We arrived @ 3:45 , waited 1hr 20min to find out they were sold out of 8 pounders and settled for a 7 . What was the whole point of pre ordering and pre paying.
Preordered and paid for a ham for thanksgiving and arrive at my scheduled pickup time to have to wait in an hour and a half line mixed with prepaid and walk up customers. The Hoenselaar family should hire the chick fil a drive through consultant to improve order to customer delivery.

In the past, the roasted turkey was outstanding. I ordered and paid for a roasted turkey online. My daughter picked it up on 11/24/24. I tried the turkey last night, and it was dry, had a smoked flavor, and it didn't have glaze on the turkey. I brought it back, and the employees treated me like I should be happy with what I paid for. They were snotty, but they did exchange the roasted turkey. Everything would have been fine if they had accepted the return of the turkey and just provided a new one. But they did not do that.
