Went for drinks, had the orange wine which we loved and a dessert. The staff were super nice. We had an issue with our desert at first, and felt too awkward to mention it for a while to the first waitress who was taking great care of us (didn’t want her to feel bad), then we mentioned eventually to another member of staff who came up to us, and the issue was sorted super quickly. Both staff members were really nice and helpful and the atmosphere was great. The garden is beautiful and the house stunning. Loved it 😊

Patron of the last several years, Had to edit my review -2025.
The last few times I thought were anomalies as the staff was less than helpful when addressing the table. A friend of mine came with me tonight and was already having rough day. We were greeted per usual with a short sentiment of the kitchen being closed. Joan served us a few great drinks and we had an awesome chat with another couple this evening at the bar. As we were finishing our drinks, my friend’s bracelet broke and the beads went across the bar and onto the floor. We used the candles as the light was dim and neither of us had phones to use for flashlights.
When I asked to borrow a phone or flashlight from the staff, I was told to use a cell phone from a patron; this was also met with opposition. They offered no assistance; despite offering to help with a bathroom issue earlier in the night; per what I do for work.
Why treat people like that who ask for a little help and none was given?

This place is always wonderful. Gluten free options always available and the food is always killer. They even freed a cicada back outside safely. But regardless of that the staff is always the best and I would recommend The rose comb to everyone.

This place feels like THE local spot. 10/10 ambiance and service. The food is amazing (we had the pulled chicken sandwich) and the drinks are delicious. Only complaint is the food menu is a little sparse. Will definitely be back to try out the gorgeous garden area.

This is the first place we stopped when we got into town, before even checking into our hotel, and we ended up going back the next day because we liked it so well. The atmosphere is so cute and charming, inside and out, with a cute little garden area, well equipped with fans for cooling. The food menu is super limited but what we had was very good, which was the corn bread and the smashed potatoes. Bartender Dave was very attentive, but could work on being a bit more warm and smiling :o). The stand our bartender/server was Chloe. She was so warm and bubbly. Just adorable. She was never our direct server but recognized us when we came in again the next day, and went above and beyond to make room for us on the patio, after we had had our first cocktail with Dave.
We’re new to Chattanooga and this is by far our favorite place, but it’s been closed the past two Saturdays which is when we go out. So if we can ever get there again it’ll remain our favorite spot… The food is really good too, potion sizes are just a little small.

We had such a great Sunday afternoon at Rosecomb in Chattanooga! Sat outside on the patio—perfect weather and great atmosphere. Our waitress, Molly, was absolutely fantastic—super friendly, attentive, and just made everything easy and fun. We had the pimento cheese and crispy cauliflower (both were so good) along with some drinks, and it was the perfect chill vibe. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Great atmosphere - perfect for a few drinks and cozy conversation. The food was delicious and the drinks were immaculate. The service was mostly good but a little slow; to be fair they were pretty busy though. I sat at the bar and really enjoyed myself. I've also sat outside in their beautiful garden area.
