We first encountered Uncle Larry's at a UTC game (food truck) a couple of years ago, so we wanted to try it again. I went to the E Brainerd location and placed a take-out order when I arrived. All of the staff I encountered were so nice and even gave me a sample of one of the desserts before I ordered it. I ordered two catfish plates, one order of fried green tomatoes, a slice of key lime pie, and a slice of cinnacrack cake. Oh my goodness, ALL of it was so good and so...
I took my family to Uncle Larry's for lunch, and it was an excellent experience. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to choose from. The restaurant had a warm, homey atmosphere that made us feel right at ease. Uncle Larry himself was there, ensuring that everything—from our drinks to our meals—was top-notch. His hospitality truly stood out. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning. A well-deserved 5 stars!
This is the best place to eat in town! Because of the excellent reviews we went there to try it out and ordered a good chunk of the menu so we could try it all. Outstanding food. The fish is perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough. Please go try it out.
