Server wasn’t accommodating or pleasant. It took a long time just to get her to take our order, and one person’s meal was missing items. She acted too busy to answer any questions or address concerns. Definitely wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re on any kind of time limit.
We arrived last night around 730/8pm. We walked inside to a sign that said ‘seat yoself’ so cool, we went out to the patio. We waited about 5 mins and no one came. It was my first time there so I went inside and asked the bartender do we need to order inside or are there servers for the patio. He told me she would be right with us. Another 5 or so minutes passed and our server begrudgingly came to our table like we were an inconvenience to her evening. Her attitude gave, ‘I’d rather be doing anything else’. I asked what brands of Vodka they carry and she said ‘Tito’s and I’m blanking on the others.’ The menu…played out and mediocre. Burgers, sandwiches, salads that you could get anywhere. The brand ‘Universal Joint’ is completely undefined and that is apparent from their lack of customer care to their bland, predictable menu. We left and won’t be back. I can excuse poor customer care if the drinks and food are on point…but they checked ZERO boxes for me.

A local hometown place with burgers, wings and brisket that os smoked amazingly! Bartenders very friendly and attentive to your needs.
Old converted gas station looks great and left intact.
Prices very reasonable and if you sit at one of the high tops, you place your order at the bar, a very Irish pub thing.

“What was once crispy, golden perfection is now… gone. And what is lost may never be found again — unless someone hears my cry.”
I never thought I’d be writing a eulogy for a side dish, but here I am, grieving the disappearance of the one menu item that had a chokehold on my tastebuds: the legendary sweet potato fries.
I never knew grief had such a flavor until I found my self consoling over what is now in its place.
If I were to ever return to this dive bar reassured it would be to enjoy the company of your bartender Alex.

Dogs shouldn’t be sitting in chairs at the bar. Dogs shouldn’t be allowed inside any establishment that has nothing to do with dogs. There are many people that are highly allergic to dogs. Crazy thing is I love dogs! This place does have good food, shrimp tacos, chicken wings, brisket nachos, burgers, quesadillas. All good food, I just can’t eat with the dogs.

I love eating here. You can bring dogs, the food is good, and the outside is shaded early because of the trees and neighboring federal building.

Interesting little place. Apparently a repurposed 1950's service station. Staff was friendly, service was fast, food was good, the portions were huge, and the prices reasonable. Highly recommend.

Stopped in on our drive home from Nashville and it was the perfect place to break up a long drive. Food was great, loved the location/surroundings, and awesome service.

This place came highly recommended and after visiting I could see why! The service was amazing (I wish I could remember our servers name but she was SO kind and patient with us) and the food was incredible (the BEST sweet potato fries I’ve ever had)! You’ll see me here again and again!
It is a great atmosphere with nice choices for inside or outside dining/drinks. The service was scattered (not busy BTW) but not horrible. Maybe short staffed? The food was pretty much fast food choices, but good. Good portions. The brisket was very fatty. Sad but true. Three of us had the same experience. We would go back and make different choices from the menu. Having good-sized portions was a definitely a drawing card for trying them again.
