Great little coffee shop tucked away inside the lobby of the Moxy. Worth stopping by!

The hotel is unique! Check-in is at the bar! Stayed here with girlfriends and enjoyed the delightful lobby with multiple seating areas designed in boho fashion. We were given a $10 token to be used for a specialty drink at the bar or their coffee shop (which wasn't open until the next morning). The "bartender/check-in gal" was most helpful and very friendly. Our room (for 3) was adequate although not very functional. Two queen beds sit back to back which looks "fun" but in reality was not very conducive for us. The decor is cool, pegs line one wall to hang clothes, bags, etc. since there is no closet or dresser. The room appears smaller than most with a narrow layout. There is no refrigerator in the room. Ice may be obtained at the bar as there are no ice machines available. An "ironing" room is located on each floor. I would find this extremely inconvenient if I had been a business traveler! The bathroom was lovely and very clean and modern. I particularly liked the walk-in shower. The hotel has one cart for customers to use to help with luggage. My one complaint is the lack of parking. We returned to the hotel at 9:00 pm and had trouble finding a space. We ended up parking in their auxiliary lot which was further from the hotel and very inconvenient. The hotel is close enough to walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Overall the stay was good, fun decor and pleasant staff!

Great stay! I was here for work and not in the room for a long time. Great for young people and those looking for a good vibe. I checked in very late, close to 1am, and the valet Connor C was so friendly and helpful in getting my car taken care of and getting me to the check-in desk. Saw him later in the afternoon and had to wonder when he takes time off! The entire staff was great, and the free drink token was so fun! I’d definitely come back again.

Took me about 10 minutes to locate. They have lots of exterior signage but NO arrows, instructions, or anything to guide you where to go. Once I finally located the bar they were closed even though hours posted indicate they should be open.

Worst travel/hotel experience by far. STAY FAR AWAY I'll start by saying I travel for work and basically live out of hotels. What happened with Moxy, is something I will never forget. Buckle up. I stayed at this location for close to two weeks. On maybe the 5th day, I woke up to numerous random charges on my person card. They had taken out an amount of close to $300, put it back in, then took it back out. There was another charge of $400 as well. I immediately called and asked for a manager, waited all day, and never heard back. Probably because the entire staff hangs out and drinks at the bar all day. The next day, I found they had charged my card another $150. I finally was able to get ahold of a "manager". They said they didn't have a card on file for our staff and "picked mine" WHAT?! The manager asked for me for my PERSONAL baking information so she could access my funds and see for herself. Extreme overstep. They promised me they would not be taking anymore money out. They also couldn't explain why they took over $800 out in the first place. The next day, I discovered they took ANOTHER amount of $150 as well as a charge of $90. I never got answers, I never received any sort of apology either. At this point my bank was fully involved and monitoring a fraudulent situation, and I had also made a call to our company lawyer. This hotel is a joke, the management is ridiculous, and I will continue to make people aware of their fraudulent, unprofessional, careless and pathetic ways of doing business.

Nice little coffee shop at the Moxy. Drinks tasted great, barista was fast and friendly.

I booked the Moxy because I stayed in one in NYC and I wanted to show my husband! This one did not disappoint! Great location, even better front desk service. Very trendy lobby with plenty of space and lounge areas. Amazing coffee shop! Plus plus plus! Awesome bar which served us very reasonably priced drinks for their Sunday Special. The only downside is the actual rooms are small, but other than that, great stay. We had the best time. The staff went above and beyond to make sure they met our every need! That's rare to find! Great job!

This place is located inside the Moxy hotel, so it looks very trendy and cool vibes like the hotel. The worst $5 cup of coffee I think I’ve ever had. I walked in and immediately noticed there was no traditional espresso machine and asked the barista if they did espresso, she said they make ex-spresso… not sure what that meant but wasn’t about to try it. So I ordered what I thought would be the safe bet, the drip coffee. It tastes like cardboard. Stay away, this isn’t a real coffee joint. The hotel’s free coffee in the lobby is better.

I went to the walk up window at 1:10 pm on Sunday. The sign says they are open until 3pm today. I rang the bell 2 times, waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the window, and got no response, so I left. What a disappointment.

excellent hotel, bed arrangement was inspirational. Bed and pillows exceptionally comfortable (soft pillow /hard bed). Clean and well appointed room. Shower - spacious , Water -hot. big windows so the room was light and airy. Great location, nice walk to the river (one mile). there was a free trolley stop outside the hotel. Excellent restaurants close by. Front reception and valet were friendly, approachable and well informed of Chattanooga events. However the bar staff were utterly rude, unfriendly and unprofessional, two young females working Friday April 14th around 6 pm.... Good God these young ladies need to find an alternative place to work, no wonder the bar was empty.

We love the Moxy in Chattanooga. We have family in Chattanooga and this is our go to spot to stay when we visit the area. We actually sacrifice room space for all of the amenities offered by this hotel and the superior customer service that it offers. There is a foosball table, shuffleboard, jenga, board games, a lovely outside area with cornhole and comfortable seating thoughout the beautiful lobby and bar. We have NEVER had a less than wonderful stay at this property. The staff is welcoming, courteous, cool, hip (all things Moxie) yet still professional and attentive to the needs of the customer. Check in was an absolute pleasure and Jason and Greg welcomed us back warmly and made us feel right at home. Jason provided us with all the information we needed upon check-in, asked our preferences for room selection and presented us with two chips to redeemed for welcome cocktails at the bar. Have a drink at the bar and you will truly enjoy the company of the awesome bar staff, GREG is awesome and so are all of the others. I must say that we just came from a horrible stay at the Moxie in downtown Nashville and the difference between the two experiences was enormous. Our entire stay as all of those before was wonderful a the Moxie Downtown Chattanooga. We were so pleased by the great attention to our needs during the stay in Chattanooga that we asked to speak with the Manager to express our pleasure. We were introduced to Taylor who is the General Manager of the Property and she was wonderful. It's no wonder to us that this property runs as well as it does. Rooms and common areas are spotless, everyone is friendly absolutely nothing at all to complain about. Taylor has this property firing on all cylinders. She is very involved, professional, and truly understands the importance of the customers experience. She and all of the people that she manages are truly Hospitality Professionals!!! Every single person that we interacted with during our stay was friendly, energetic and enthusiastically interested in making our stay great. I would like to also mention the two ladies who were room attendants on our floor who did such an amazing job of maintaining our room and provided wonderful service with a smile each and every day. If you are going to visit Chattanooga and want a fun little hotel with a cool vibe try the Moxie WE LOVE IT !!!!! STUFF: Nice shopping at Warehouse row within 2 blocks. Very good restaurants: Stir, Nick and Norman's, and Frothy Monkey withing 2 blocks and *Clumpies ice cream only a block away. $8 Uber to AT&T Stadium and Aquarium, 8 Minute Drive to Ruby Falls.

Unique, Relaxed Atmosphere with great customer service. Garner ( the valet) was so polite and helpful. It was walking distance to dome great bars and restaurants. Pickle Barrel is a great establishment. Will definitely stay here again!

Connor C was an amazing valet! He had the truck started with our seat heaters on. Love the hotel and the area! Coffee at the Frothy Monkey and dinner at Alleia were fabulous. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I were driving up from southwest Florida on our way to Michigan driving a 20 foot uhaul and towing a car hauler with my small suv. It was a horrible drive. Breaking down on the side of 75 for 3 hrs. So, not a great traveling day. Once we finally got to Chattanooga at 12:30 am we were greeted by a very friendly worker named TY. He was awesome and very helpful with directing us to a parking spot that would accommodate our big rig. We really appreciated his helpfulness after our long and tiring drive. Afterwards, he served us up some great drinks at the lobby bar. The room was small but comfortable with a cool, modern vibe. We would definitely like to come back and spend some more time in this nice little downtown area.
