The pork and brisket both were amazingly tender and delicious but oh that sauce! Just a touch if sweetness. It didn’t cover up the meat but enhanced it. We bought a pint to take with us! Service was great!
We were traveling up I-24 and looking for a local restaurant. After a quick internet search we found Up in Smoke. It doesn't look like much when you pull up but don't be put off. The food was fantastic. I had ribs and my wife had pulled pork. Both very good. For those BBQ experts, this is a dry BBQ with sauce on the side. Comes out in paper plates but issue they may be a Covid adjustment. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is the kind of place most folks drive past. Don’t do it. Bbq is fabulous. I don’t even know if their sauce is good because I didn’t even try it. Burger is hand made which is always nice. Our waitress was quick and very helpful. We pass through the area kind of often and this will be a regular stop.
