If you’re looking for atmosphere, the view is great. However, the service stinks. And, would it kill them to clear the tables and wipe them down? Especially, when servers are just hanging around? Poor management.

We spent the weekend in Chattanooga and went to the Whiskey Thief twice for drinks. The atmosphere was great, as was the service. One server who went over and above both nights we were there was Abi. Not only was she friendly, helpful, and made great drinks, she brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm to the bar for her patrons. You guys are lucky to have someone so engaging and caring on your team.

My wife and I visited here once and we loved it.
We got an espresso martini and dry martini.
We do not partake in alcohol often, but the drinks were very good. More enjoyable than the drinks was the view overlooking the Tennessee River.
The Bar/Lounge itself was beautiful and all around a very swanky place to hang and chat with friends.
My wife and I plan on visiting back for birthdays and anniversary’s.

Had to wait 25 minutes for servers to acknowledge me. It was busy but servers were walking by dirty tables and customers without drinks. Agree with other comments that service needs major work. Either they need more servers or a better system. Also agree with comments that the balcony railings are gross to sit next to as they are infested with spider webs. It would take 15 minutes to address this so that’s fairly disappointing.
However, my drink was great and they were friendly once I got service. Would go back if they sort through the above complaints.

Atmosphere and location are amazing! So much potential for this location if the service was up to par. Counted at least 5 servers but it took forever to be served and get your check. It wasn’t even that busy, so not sure why the service took so long. More intentionality with how service is provided will help keep customers happy.

Very cool place, beautiful sunset and rooftop bar. Food was good too, try the fries if you want a snack before you go to dinner. Cocktails were a bit pricey but view made up for it. BE CAREFUL PARKING. Received a ticket for parking near a yellow curb that everyone else was parked next too so u assumed it was fine. Will return.

The plus-side of this bar is the location and the beautiful view. Drinks are reasonably priced for a boutique hotel bar and the atmosphere is inviting. The negative side of this review is the miserable service. We stayed at this hotel for a weekend and visited the bar on two occasions and each time we waited endlessly for a server and painfully for our order to arrive. Although it was a weekend, only one server was working a dozen tables outside and was overwhelmed. Management was nowhere to be found although someone stood and greeted everyone upon entry--a mindless task. Service is what this place needs. As a guest, I was appalled at the level of neglect within the bar. The place will thrive because the view is pleasant but there are many options nearby that supply food and drinks in a timely manner with a similar open environment.
