Went here 1.23.26 and purchased 1 drink. The amount for that drink came out as it was supposed to and was marked as completed on my end. I then noticed an additional amount. This amount was for $18.67. My item, before tip, wasn't even $18.67. So, I'm sure where this charge came from. I attempted to contact my bank and see if I could dispute, but because it's pending, I can't. They advised me to contact Whiskey Thief to see if they could refund the item or complete it so I can dispute it. I have contacted them 4 different times. 2 times was told they would give my name and number to the manager and they would call me back and the other 2 times was someone giving me the managers number directly and me contacting him leaving him a voicemail. It has been a week and this charge is still pending. I still don't know what this charge is from and no one has even attempted to call me back. It's honestly not the money, it's the principle. So, if you decide you want to go there, make sure you understand that they may take additional money out of your account and good luck getting anyone to assist you in getting it back. I don't like leaving reviews and I always try to be understanding because things happen, but no one has even attempted to assist me. So good luck to those who try to go here.

We came to visit for vacation. The atmosphere and view is fantastic. It's very comfortable. The service has always been great. The cocktails are unique and reasonably priced. I've only ever had the burger but it was delicious.

We visited the bar late night while staying at the hotel and it did not disappoint.
Despite clearly being short staffed and having a busy night - we were greeted almost immediately and encouraged to help ourselves to a seat. We sat at a table away from the bar (only one available) and a server came by to take our drink order.
Before he could return, another employee - who was running food to another table - immediately came over to us after to see if we wanted to order food (which we did!).
She took our order, then the drinks arrived and before we knew it the food was out and was incredible! The menu is quite limited - and even more so when you one of you doesn't eat meat - and yet we were able to make a meal out of 2 caesar salads, the hummus plate and the deviled eggs.
And don't even get me started on the cocktails! We started with a Manhattan and an Espresso Martini that were perfectly crafted. And then for our dessert round switched to their signature Old Fashioned. Each one was better than the next!
Thanks for an incredible time, Whiskey Thief. We will definitely we back!

Whiskey Thief has great views, friendly service, and reasonably priced drinks, especially for being on the top floor of such a nice hotel. That said, first impressions matter, and the smell of dirty mop water when walking in was a turnoff. The Old Fashioned was also underwhelming for a bar at this level. No cherry, no smoke, just overall mediocre. Worth stopping by for the view, but the cocktails didn’t quite match the setting.

We had seen pictures of the Whiskey Thief in a magazine and being new to the area we decided to try it out. The atmosphere and views were outstanding. The food perfect . Service needed help!!!! I asked for a non alcoholic drink got one that took forever to get, asked for another got it almost as we were leaving.

My fiancé and I met in Chattanooga six years ago and found Whiskey Thief on our first night together. And this Thanksgiving weekend, we visited Whiskey Thief on the night of our engagement. On both occasions the cocktails were delicious, the service was first class, and the environment was sophisticated yet relaxed. We even sat in the same corner booth. Too bad the manager didn't find out until we were leaving, since he offered to buy us free drinks. But we'll return on our next trip to Chattanooga, since this is one cocktail lounge you don't want to miss!

Awful wait times for service. If you just want a drink the bar tender won’t serve you unless you are seated at one of their 6 seats at the bar. Cool atmosphere and good views just plan time to be there.
Cool place for drinks and good with an amazing view of the bridge and river. Liked the vibe this place put off and the staff were good to deal with.

We found this place for after dinner drinks. I would say the vibe is pretty cool. Had a great atmosphere and great views of the river. Kinda industrial rustic style. The drinks were good and we would visit this spot again. Great selection of spirits too.
