My recent visit to Whiskey Thrift in Chattanooga was an absolute delight from start to finish. The new Buffalo Chicken Chips was terrific. Drinks and service was great! Only complaint was because of the weather. When someone would use the door to the deck nearest the bar the wind would keep it blown open. That made it chilly and blew things like napkins around. That's the only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere.

Wonderful bar with gorgeous views and amazing staff! Nyna took great care of us and had the best recommendations. Go here, ask for Nyna, and order whatever she recommends – you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be dreaming about their blondie dessert for years to come. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in the area!

Located on the 5th floor rooftop of the beautiful Edwin hotel, the Whiskey Thief is a great place for a drink.There is an amazing selection of whiskey (whiskey/bourbon/scotch) along with a great selection wine and bubbles. Service was excellent too.
After dinning downstairs at whitebird we decided on some cocktails. The bar is decorated beautifully with a cool laid back vibe. The bartenders were very busy but they were knocking out the drinks fast. They were also delicious. The patio views can not be beat as well, despite it being cold they did have a small heated area. Will definitely return again.

Such a charming atmosphere and experience!I love a nice rooftop bar, and this one is stellar--overlooking the Chattanooga river at the mouth of the pedestrian bridge. It's a very warm and cozy space, despite the high ceilings.Tried a whiskey flight and an Aviation gun mixed drink--all lovely and nicely presented. (I wish we'd been hungry--the food passing us looked amazing.)

Though the name is WHISKEY THIEF they don't rob you of excellent customer service! This was my 2nd visit in 2 days with my BFFs during the THANKSGIVING holiday weekend, which says alot in itself. There is care & courtesy from the valet opening the front door, to the hotel desk clerk allowing us to sit in the lobby for 10 mins until they opened (pointing out the beautiful art, detail & holiday decorated lobby), to ADAM our server & whiskey cocktail expert. The view is breath taking along with the atmosphere, decor, drink menu & service. Cheers to the company for employing ADAM and ensuring incredible, professional & quality service. My favorite cocktail: the campfire sling. ENJOY & BE KIND.Vegetarian options: Hummus on the menuParking: Valet available, free street parking, paid parking garage. All less than a block from location.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access, double front doors, elevator immediately to the right upon entry and plenty of wide space/ hallways.
