This was our first visit to Chattanooga. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the Whitebird. However, we did buy a bottle of wine with the understanding that we could recork the bottle and take it home. At the meals end, the bar tender started to poor us more wine. I told him not too, but he did anyway, exclaiming “ you can drink the rest”. Well, we had a show to go to and left two full glasses of wine at the table. What a waste and disappointment.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time tonight! We were served by Chris; he made us feel so special and took wonderful care of us. He has great attention to detail and he also brought us a “Congratulations” fruit board for dessert, in celebration of our recent engagement.
So fun and special!
Only thing I would change is the musicians were a bit loud - they were lovely but a bit overpowering.

Whitebird was a fantastic dining experience! I started with the Heirloom Cornbread Skillet and Buttermilk Biscuits—both warm, flavorful, and comforting. For my entrée, the Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop was perfectly cooked and delicious, paired beautifully with a refreshing Whiskey Sour. Great food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere—I’ll definitely be back!

A cool 280$ 2 people for thanksgiving dinner and a few glasses of wine for my wife. Was it worth it? No it was not. If you’re going to charge that much for a family style thanksgiving, I feel like it should be perfect, not one thing off. They clearly could not handle the volume of people. The food was cold, and it wasn’t good. I don’t give bad reviews because I know it’s hard to run a business, but it was kind of ridiculous. I felt like we were back in the pandemic. It took almost three hours to get out of there. The very first time we went to this place for brunch it was A+. Every time since it’s been meh.

Nooga Bennie was excellent along with everything else we had.

Edit: have been back several times and the quality of the food has dropped off unfortunately

No one is in a hurry here. It took 20 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order and even longer to take our food order. It was not packed at all, only ten people, so not sure why the service was so slow. The food was not bad, just not worth the money they charge for it. Overall we were there for over 2hrs and only spent 20min of that time eating, that’s how slow they are.

Wow, the food is delicious ?, its portions are large, it is strategically located in front of the river, to take nice photos.

This is a fine place for brunch. The menu is a bit limited, but the quality of the food is favorable. The location is convenient and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The unfortunate portion of the experience was the waitstaff. The servers were unorganized and ill-equipped to handle even the light volume we observed. Glasses were not refilled, food took a long time to be served and payment was unnecessarily difficult to complete. Management was nowhere to be found and really needed to organize the staff and the orders.

Well, shoot. We came here five years ago and came back in the same weekend because at that time, the food had been so good.

Fast-forward to 2024, and brunch was way off its game. I got the banana-chocolate waffle, and the nuts sprinkled on top were fully rancid—spoiled to the point of tasting the way oil paints or crayons smell. My husband got the chicken and waffles, and the chicken on top was straight-from-the-freezer, food-service grade chicken tenders (unsuccessfully disguised with a seasoning blend sprinkled on top). Imagine the chicken tenders you might’ve ordered at the skating rink as a kid, or from under the warmer lamp at a sketchy gas station, and you’ve pictured them accurately.

We’re more than happy to pay $19 a piece for a brunch entree, but we expect better quality from the restaurant of a nice hotel.

We really appreciated that they comped the food. The manager was busy with another matter (we had the chance to speak with a supervisor), so I’m leaving this review in the hopes that she or he will eventually see it and perhaps take the feedback to heart.

Our home is Asheville NC, and we are on our way to a wedding. Eating here was like being in your mother's kitchen and finally letting down. We literally ate every bite...the scallops were seared to perfection and lots of fresh veggies! So nice watching the sunset, too. Thank you, Josh, Lesha, and your chefs for the generous hospitality and the bread pudding on the house.
