My whole family is from Brooklyn, and my wife will tell you I am a pizza snob.

This pizza is the closest thing to New York dollar-a-slice style pizza you can get in this town. I have eaten at the place next door with better reviews and scores, I ate at the fancy a time places in Nashville, I had some at some of the Italian places here.

None of them are even remotely close to what I was looking for. Now while you do have to buy a whole pie, this place is very affordable, and it was just what I was looking for. Yeah, the store it's in is kind of grimy, but for some reason the man behind the counter was making quality pizza, especially for the area.

What makes a great pizza? The sauce. Everyone has pizza dough, cheese and toppings however the sauce makes the difference. This place has great sauce and they put it on thick, no little smears like other restaurants. The prices are reasonable too. Definitely the best pizza in Clarksville.

Best Pizza in Clarksville if you like NY style.

I ordered the lunch special. 2 slices and a drink.
I walked to the beverage machine to get my drink. 2 lady bugs came out with the ice. Whatever harmless bugs.

They brought the pizza to my table and I started eating. After the first slice, I just happened to look at the bottom of the crust on the second slice. It was cover in sorter of grey looking color and debris.

I didn't eat the second slice and went back to work.

The wait staff was very friendly and this isn't towards them. Ownership should make it a priority to clean their ovens on a very frequent basis to ensure the quality of the pizza isn't compromised.

Pizza has great flavor but..

I’m not sure why people are saying such nasty things, however I’ve traveled all over the country and attended school most of my life on the north side of Chicago- Chicago is known as the hub of all foods, specifically Pizza. Aside from the whole in the wall, which is a plus where I come from this pizza is by far the best and closest taste matched to Chicago and or New York pizza, I mean it when I say that. Certainly the best in Tennessee. Please don’t be fooled and I highly recommend eating fresh out the oven for the best experience! There’s actually sauce and high quality ingredients ya hear me! It’s great crust, crust is everything to me I’ll travel across town just for his pizza.

The cook is actually a native of New York and very passionate about the pizza- he can hold a conversation and very honest & kind. Maybe a little misunderstood but certainly not rude. Please do not mistake NEW YORK PIZZA DEPOT FOR NY PIZZA. This amazing pizza is tucked inside of the convenience store, I promise it’s worth it.

Rude customer service! Pizza tasted like cardboard, very little cheese, sauce was okay, nothing special. What else would you expect from a gas station that accepts EBT for a meal, then cash under the table for cooking it for you?? Will not make the same mistake again twice of ordering from here again

I don't know why there are negative reviews here. We ordered delivery thru Doordash. We got one pizza with everything and one with chicken and spinach. Both were delicious with generous toppings and great crust. We will definitely be ordering again.

The store is dirty and smells like old musty freezers. The pizza smells awful and the guy running the pizza counter is not only fifty and dirty in appearance he is rude as hell. I canceled and went next door to NY pizza depot. This place purposely named them self NY pizza to confuse people into ordering them on accident. They are literally 2 building down and the other place has been here much longer. Discusting food disgusting employees and disgusting buisness practice

I ordered a hefty order to be told no delivery driver. And on top of it trying to charge me for a 2nd time. No one seems to not know how to pick up a phone.
