I’ll be honest, I *want* to give a 5 star review AND a zero star review; here is why: the staff was friendly, coffee was just fine, etc all the things you want. However, I was very surprised to look at their menu to see what is trying to be a unique take on a Cuban coffee (which I would already argue has 3 too many “special” ingredients and veers too far from any Cuban coffee, but I digress) - that is name the “CASTRO” knowing I’m in a military town, this surprised...
Gosh I love Miss Lucille’s cafe so it pains me to write this. Food is always great, and the service USED to be awesome. There’s a woman and man there most of the time now who are always rude and act like they would rather be elsewhere. It’s so unsettling coming into a dining experience and being made to feel like you aren’t valued. Both of them need a lesson in customer service because as much as we love the café, the last two visits were crappy due to their attitudes.
Solid 4 stars for lunch today!
Nice and chill atmosphere. Definitely not overstimulating.
I had the Reuben sandwich with a bowl of Tomato soup. Great sandwich! Fresh bread! Buttered and lightly toasted. A little disappointed with the chips but the sandwich made up for it. Served with a pickle spear.
Soup was just the right consistency. Flavorful and creamy, but not to creamy ?
