Old Chicago Pizza Reviews
We always love dates at Old Chicago! Verda was our server, was upbeat, perky and did a great job. Food was excellent too!
This is the best OC location. All of the staff and management are so friendly and welcoming. Food is always great & the drinks are reasonably priced. 😎🥳
Fatima made it all worth going, she talked with me about things and made me feel not so bad about getting what I normally get there without my other party, Chicago 7 and Italian nachos are always on point when I visit! Wish I had more time to stay thank you Fatima!- Tony

Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom provides a friendly and lively dining environment with attentive servers who keep glasses full and create a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its delicious Thai Pie, a customer favorite, along with popular items like Italian nachos and cauliflower crust pizza. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich and pretzel sticks are highly recommended. The manager is praised for excellent customer service, quickly resolving issues like overcooked pizza by providing fresh replacements.
Recently, some customers expressed disappointment with the lunch buffet, citing poor selection, stale and cold food, and slow service. Others shared that their experience with deep-dish Chicken, Bacon Ranch was disappointing, as it arrived with only ranch and no marinara sauce, leading to waste. Despite these issues, some guests still consider the pizza to be outstanding, with one customer calling it the best in ten years, especially enjoying the Thai pie and meat me on ale crust.
The self-seating policy in the bar area was initially met with skepticism, but a server’s cheerful attitude helped improve the experience. Customers have noted that the restaurant used to be very busy, but now offers a more relaxed atmosphere, especially during trivia nights, where the food and service have been praised. Overall, Old Chicago remains a popular spot for good pizza and a variety of beers, with friendly staff making every visit enjoyable.
