Rudy’s Diner has been a staple of Clarksville, TN for many years. The food, service and atmosphere is really good. The entire menu is fantastic. The open face roast beef with mashed potatoes and coleslaw is wonderful.
Great little home town diner. Its hard to find this type of diner anymore. I had the bacon cheeseburger and a coke. It really hit the spot. Its a small diner with maybe 10, 4 person booths and 3 or 4 tables. There was already a party of 8-10 people occupying two tables pushed together when we arrived. We had a party of 6, so they scooted a table up to a booth for us. Great hometown atmosphere.
I was shocked,when I VERY BIG glass of milk came,when I ordered a small!! I asked the waitress to bring me a small,like kid size and she THEN she told me that was the ONLY SIZE I could get,it cost $3.49 I didn't want it ,but she wouldn't take it back. I had to pay for it.I should have raised hell about it. I could have got a whole gallon for that price,so can't eat breakfast there evwr again, cause I prefer a small glass of milk with my breakfast.
