It was my first time going to Yamato and the power went out and it was the only business that the power went out. The food was amazing, the male waiter we had was amazing but the power went out. When it was time to pay they used the menu to get the prices but added their own tax to the final price. So I went to the Mapo next-door and got a $100.00 for my $85.00 I was gunna give the waiter a $5.00 for a decent tip. I’ve always loved coming here until today. My family was in town and I wanted to show them a great dining experience at my favorite hibachi place. We were sat immediately but we waited for over 45 mins because they wanted to “wait for other people to show up” before they sent the chef to our table. Horrible service took our drink order did not bring our drinks until our food arrived. Did not get my sushi until after the meal server insideare cups after waiting to get a refill the whole time just a whole experience ruined. The dinner would not recommend.
