Food was great!
Service not so much.
They included a 15% gratuity on the bill, so be sure and don’t double tip!!!

If I could have given ZERO, I would have! We had questions about the menu and the server was super sweet but not enough knowledge of the menu, so she called the OWNER, she was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! We got up and paid for the only thing we did eat, and still was acting OBNOXIOUS about the whole situation. I WOULDN’T recommend this place to my worst enemy!! 🤬🤬🤬

Had a lunch outing for work. Set a reservation ahead of time so I cannot speak to any wait times but it was dead at that time. The restaurant is pretty shabby and falling apart. The food was pretty good, great cuts of steak, sushi was very good. Food was a little over salted.

Overall the food was decent taste and quality but hibachi is about an experience and the run down dirty appearance of the building definitely kills that experience.

Was in town visiting my son at Campbell and wanted to try a good Japanese spot, ended up checking this place out. At first, things seemed fine, but the hostess who seated us set a weird tone. No greeting, no explanation of the menu just kind of cold and rushed. Honestly felt like we were bothering her just by showing up.They brought out the soup and salad pretty fast, but the same lady kept hovering, checking if we were done like she was in a hurry to move us along. It felt more like we were working for them, not the other way around. The hibachi chef was friendly and did the usual show, nothing amazing, but he was nice. The food, though, was pretty salty, and the prices were a bit on the high side for what you get.Overall, the experience was just okay. Definitely not somewhere I’d go back to, mostly because of the poor customer service.

Some of the staff was very rude and rushed feeling. The closed hours for during the week aren’t correct. They need to update the hours as well. The food order was mixed up, which wasn’t a big deal. The food was okay. I expected it to be better.

What a great little place! We stopped at Yamato Japanese Steakhouse for dinner and really enjoyed the experience. We got seated with another family at a big hibachi table and we left as friends! It was great watching the chef prepare our meals right in front of us, and give a show with spinning eggs and an onion volcano! Our food was hot and delicious.

Great experience. The cook (Roberto) was so cool and friendly. The food was delicious and so tasty. My steak was just right, the shrimp was so good. I enjoyed everything I had. Definitely a 5. Thank you!!! Great time!

I was forced to sit at a bar instead of a habchi table. I left after being told I had to have a party of two or more to sit there. I just moved here with my husband (military) and saw this place rated highly for hibachi. Since it was right outside of base, I figured it would be PERFECT for a solo dinner. My favorite habichi place in at Fort Bragg would always fit me into a table as a party of 1. This is a huge disappointment.
