I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time. I buy the beans, the drinks, and I’ve supported this shop consistently. The coffee is great and the baristas are the only reason the place feels welcoming.
The issue is the owner. The way she snarls at people and gives children dirty looks isn’t subtle — it’s openly hostile. It’s not ‘reserved,’ it’s not just her personality. It’s rude.
If you dislike kids that much, at least offer reliable curbside so parents don’t have to deal with the attitude. I’m not interested in supporting a place where the owner treats customers — especially children — like they’re an inconvenience.

Great atmosphere to meet friends in. Service is decent, staff isn't unfriendly. Food is meh, drinks are mostly great.

Nice local coffee shop. Even when they are busy, the atmosphere is such that you can still have a conversation easily.

Got inside and went to the register, was not greeted by the woman with short hair, seemed irritated with customers and was not giving customer service. The muffin and bagel were good and the area to dine in was large. Customer service is everything to me will probably not return.

Cleveland is fortunate to have such a stellar coffee shop. I moved here from Nashville (which has a great selection of shops that roast their own coffee) and Bon Life is better than all of them. They make a perfect americano and also have a good selection of fun and interesting things to try, such as the iced coffee made with tonic water. Surprisingly delicious!

Absolutely an outstanding coffee experience and a testament to the specialty coffee community in Cleveland, TN.
The barista recommended the grape soda cold brew — and while it might sound unconventional, don’t knock it until you try it. It was perfect on a hot summer day and easily one of the most memorable specialty coffee drinks I’ve ever had.
I liked it so much, I went back three more times over the next few days while in town for work. Atmosphere and service were excellent, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Cleveland just so I can stop by again.

The seasonal menu was not my favorite, but the Vietnamese cold brew my partner had was quite good. I wish the menu online was more accurate to what was actually available, because I ended up with false expectations. The food selection was very bare bones (no pastries, no croissants, just some muffins and cinnamon rolls).

Best local roaster. Bonlife offers a variety of single origin coffees and (my favorite) limited time, unique blends that are always an enjoyable adventure. Go have a cup.

Love love the coffee. Best in Cleveland, TN. Just know that if you go there to work, there are limited outlets. So make sure your devices are charged in case you can't get access to one for a bit!
