This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Cleveland. I make it a point to try as much Mexican food as possible, but none have topped burrito express for flavor.

I used to come here all the time, but I’ve stopped recently due to the decline in service and portion sizes. Each time I’ve visited, the staff has been rude, and they’ve become noticeably stingy with portions. Cleanliness is also a concern, I’ve seen workers wearing gloves, touching the iPad, and then handling food without changing gloves. I haven’t even been able to get a free glass of water because they claim the drink dispenser isn’t working. It’s disappointing because this used to be a great place to eat. They really need to work on customer service, cleanliness, and building relationships with regular customers.

We ate here and got very sick from the food. I contacted the restaurant and told them but they were not wanting to listen or give a refund. I did report them to the Health Dept as we have been very ill. We both ate the same meat and we were not sick until we ate here. Have all the food poisoning symptoms. Couldn’t even go to work so sick but they didn’t care.
Beware about eating here. I will never eat there again.

Tried to order by phone for pick up. Was told in Spanish I couldn’t. Went inside to order. 1st 2 orders well but the 3rd went wrong on many levels. Charged way too much for what was supposed to be $5. Didn’t get much food either. Won’t be back. Must speak Spanish to order here.

One of my favorite places to eat! If you like Mexican without the wait and possibly better tasting then try out Burrito Express! Their catering is also top of the line with taste and price per person.

This place is amazing, first off the options are amazing, one of the only places that offer cucumber and squash, everything is quality, fresh, and authentic. Imagine a better and more authentic Chipotle, Salsarita’s, Dos Bros, etc.. Prices are great and they offer a great student discount, I always order a burrito and man is it perfect, I highly recommend this place. Also it is family owned so why not support a local business!!!

Best mexican in town by far! Comparable to the best burrito I've ever had which was in San Francisco. Not tex mex! Authentic flavours and great meat choices....Edit:Bring back the.... Great salsa bar including a mango pico! Will be back often!

First time eating here Ordered the Pollo Loco. Lots of rice (very little chicken portion in it). It was not good enough that I would order this menu item again. You basically just paying for rice ..lol I will try something else next time and if they are greedy with their meat like they was this time I will not be back.
