I’ve been saying this for a couple years now, and I am (obviously) partial to Bar Food (if you really know who I am and what I do for a living). But, CBC Cleveland has some of the best food available in the area. It’s one of our go-to spots when we have time off. We especially enjoy going on weekday afternoons and sitting on the patio when it’s not super-packed. Today, I ordered the Hamburger Steak Plate with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and Steamed Broccoli. He ordered a Fried Chicken Salad w/ Ranch, but asked them to toss the chicken in their Nashville Hot Sauce. They absolutely accommodated and delivered a wonderful well-priced meal. Aubrey, the bartender, whom we’ve grown to know and love is fantastic. They’re doing a lot of renovating at the moment in Downtown Cleveland, but it’s definitely worth the navigational challenge. If you get the chance, take advantage of this hidden gem. They are “more than just a bar”. Their food and service has never disappointed me. ?

Good food. I got the Bob Marley burger per the waitresses recommendation. Usually spicy isn't my favorite but it was great. Took the server a little bit to bring the check but I would give her the benefit of the doubt that she thought we were still working on it as my colleague needed a to-go box. Everyone was nice. Good food. It was a little smokey in there if you are not a smoker, but overall will be going back!

They really do have the best burger in town! Service is not that good because the bartender is also the server for all the tables most of the time. Best atmosphere around.

The atmosphere here is always welcoming. Basic, diverse crowd. Never any drama that I've witnessed. Cold and affordable drinks. There are plenty of pool tables and dart boards.

Absolutely the best onion rings and fries I’ve ever had. They make everything in house. My burger, The Southwestern, was huge and delicious. Can’t believe you can get food this great so late in the evening! Wow!

I have only eaten food from CBC during the Downtown Dine Around but what I have had, was really good. Loved their garlic wings. Hard to go to the restaurant though because the smoke smell inside is so strong.

CBC just discriminated on us tonight. They kicked us out because we were black and Mexican. They carded us soon as we walked into the place to play pool, not to buy alcohol but just to play pool. Then said they do it to everyone but when I asked the white people that was sitting on the patio if they were carded they said no they wasn't carded. I'm 46 years old and all three women with me was older than me. But the owner says it's policy to card everyone but he didn't card the group of white people that was in the patio. CBC just messed up a beautiful mother's day for three beautiful mother's!!!!!! Do not go to this establishment

Amazing place for food or a drink. Wings are phenomenal and Aubrey the bartender made my stay at the bar, fun and accommodating. Definitely will return when I'm back in the area.
