Service has gone down hill big time. First time they said they ran out of plates took a hour to get food and the order was wrong

I went to 3 different Cracker Barrels in Tennessee, Georgia, and Ohio and found that the dinner products have been cheapened greatly everywhere. ! Chicken and dumplings were mostly gravy. Same with pot roast. It must be a corporate decision. I'll have to limit my visits to breakfast only.

I had a pleasant experience with Abby today. Lunch wasn't ready until 11 :00 but she was able to get me plenty of vegetable options that were already available, which is what I wanted. She made sure I got my cornbread as soon as it was ready. I really appreciated her hospitality and initiative.

Today we checked in online, arrived at the Cleveland TN , Cracker Barrel store, checked in again in person, waited approximately 30 minutes for a table, before being seated.
Then…
While waiting for someone to take our order, a server named Abigail with four stars, who was impatient and in a big hurry, tried to go around customers already in the aisle.
When she did this, she spilled an entire container of syrup all over me.
The syrup was on my arm, my hand, the front of my shirt, my left side and on my left leg.
She was unapologetic and hostile, and said it wasn’t her fault because someone bumped into her. I attempted to discuss this with the Manager on duty, a short man with salt and pepper hair, but he did not seem the least bit concerned.
He said in a very condescending manner, “I’ll get it cleaned for you” when I attempted to show him all of the syrup on my shirt. He was not concerned about what had actually happened, or especially about my distress.
As I was standing there talking to the manager, the same server brushed past me on my right side and said “Forget it. whatever. I don’t even care.” in a very belligerent and angry voice.
This was by far the very WORST experience we have ever had at Cracker Barrel, and we are regulars who eat there multiple times a week.
Or at least we were.
There were so many opportunities to have handled this differently. Server needs training on customer relations and manager does too.
Super disappointed. Do better!

If I could put zero stars I would. Good wasn’t prepared the way we ordered it. It’s like they scraped the bottom of the barrel on the sides. A five dollar fruit cup with maybe three cut up strawberries. Now we’re snacking tonight to bring what we didn’t eat back with pictures. How can we eat without spoons or forks in our bags? The guy that I paid at the register had a crap attitude.
