Indigo Café on 1st Street scored a 70.The inspector had the r throw away about 18 pounds of food including tofu, noodles, pasta salad and butternut squash. All of the food was made in March when the r was inspected in April. There was not an air gap between the ice machine and discharge drain pipe. The inspector said there was bad hand washing techniques as employees were seen touching their face and not washing hands after.Packages of raw hamburger meat was found by the inspector being stored on top of containers of dressing. The inside of the microwave was dirty and a non-food contact table was found to be in poor repair.Food was not being reheated properly, according to the inspector, and food being cooled was held at the wrong temperature. The inspector said there was a lack of managerial control. The person in charge was reminded of the food safety training class available in Bradley County.

Wanted to try this place ! But after hearing they scored under 70 on inspection I will definitely not go ! I know we not perfect but how can we leave microwave dirty... employees can't even wash hands properly.. raw meat laying around... that right there is nasty !! If they wouldn't like being treated that way then do better each other !! Lost my business for sure ..

A dozen or so options on the vegetarian menu. We asked for modifications to the gnocchi. Absolutely out of this world! Salads seem generous servings. Dessert: Mixed berry Gallette with vegan ice cream. We usually don't order dessert, but we're glad we did this time. Next time, too.Excellent, attentive service.Indigo Cafe has become our "Go To" place for dining out--all occasions or even without a reason.Vegetarian options: Gnocchi!Dietary restrictions: Willing to modify menu for vegans.Vegan cheese and ice cream!

We've been here a few times now, and it's always the best. The food is sooo good. We try something new when we go. Both times, the food was amazing. We had a table of 15 and I didn't hear 1 person complain. Everyone left with happy bellies and smiles on their faces. The service has always been top-notch. The people who work there have always had the best attitudes. The bartender makes really good drinks. They have a nice selection to choose from. The atmosphere is very clean, colorful and relaxing.. We really enjoy eating here. I highly recommend anyone giving it a try..
