Just Love Coffee Cafe - Cleveland

I was in town visiting my little brother at school, it was a really good vibe. We ordered, ate, and then talked for at least an hour. It wasn't super crowded or loud, very laid back environment. Oh and the coffee I ordered was AMAAAAAZING. Def check it out!

Well, this is a firsthand experience and it’s a constructive criticism; last week for the first time I went in this establishment and ordered a large “carbonated” fruit flavoured cold drink, they had only a very small handful of customers who were seating down. There were a couple of people who were waiting for their drinks before me at the bar/counter. Then it was my turn to order, I asked a few questions and carefully ordered what sounded good. It took a while before my drink was ready even though it wasn’t busy at all. After I got my drink I asked the barista if the drink was carbonated as the advertisement said? She said no, we don’t have carbonated water! So, this is the issue I have, at least tell me that you don’t have carbonated water, even if you just ran out, there’s no dishonour if you tell me the truth before you make the drink so that I can decide to go ahead with the drink or not, don’t just pull a fast one and keep quiet and give me the drink as if everything is fine. Besides, I spent $7.34 on the drink! One of the people there, a lady who works there got embarrassed and emptied a little bit from the top of the drink cup and went to the soda fountain and added a little bit of soda water, but it really didn’t make much of a difference. To be fair, they are very nice people, but the service is too slow and not disclosing the truth shows very poor training by the manager. Almost $8 for a lousy drink, but if it was free then I would count my blessings and move on. It’s really disappointing.

We love “Just Love”! The employees always have a smile on their faces and they know how to communicate with the public… something that is not often seen these days. Thank you for having such a wonderful local business with a great environment and employees! If there was anything negative to say, it would be to make sure the tables and chairs are cleaned consistently. Also, keep the plastic ware and napkins stocked on the table. Learning curves… :)
