What can I say? La Altena is one of the best Tex Mex restaurants in Cleveland, especially on the South side. Cleveland has several excellent Mexican restaurants, and La Altena is one of them. I've ordered several different items from their menu and have yet to be led than impressed. Service is great. Price point is very good. My family of 5 had dinner for about $10 a person, and they have is so much food that I ended up having to take my entree home because I was already so full eating chips, salsa, queso, and beans, rice and salad from one of my kids who only wanted the main item. It's nice to go out to eat, get a hearty meal, then have another hearty meal the next day

Not a fan. Food has no taste,just blan and the staff are SLOW. Two tacates and the fajita Chimichanga $27.00 that's a little unreasonable.

My server was awesome!!! Younger lady with the eyelashes!!! Awesome attitude and good customer service. Food was fast and fresh 😋 definitely reccomend this place and if you come get the quesa birrria tacos

I was actually impressed by how flavorless their food was. I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that boiled their chicken with no seasoning, bravo. At any rate I will not be back to a restaurant that pays as much attention to their food as they do their service. Me and my family came in and were the only people in the entire restaurant (3 people) and the waiter still couldn’t remember who ordered what and was short with us. The staff obviously know the restaurant is going down. We paid and left with most of the food still on our plates. Good luck with your future job search
