My husband is a huge cemitas fan and when we took a road trip to Chicago he found heaven. Sadly that restaurant is closed now and we've been searching since for a good place. Our trip to Philly brought us to this place. Oh. My. God. The chicken milanese cemita was the best thing ever. I think Philly should retire the cheese steak and make this their state sandwich. Trust me, you won't regret getting this. The place is casual the service friendly. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I had the al pastor tacos and they were great. Additionally, they don't take the Yelp check in anymore so no more free guacamole... but the free chips and salsa were good too. Another great spot for tacos! I came on a Friday afternoon and it was quite painful searching for a parking, BUT persistency prevails! I ordered Al Pastor ($10) and waited for about 20 mins. Took those bad boys to my car and devoured them. The flavor was there but I wished the protein was little more tender. The overall service and time was great. I will come here again for a sit-in.

The tacos Al pastor were very very tasty. They were prepared very quickly as well, so we were in and out nice and fast. The atmosphere is also very fun and pleasant with the authentic Mexican decorations. Easier than expected to find parking nearby.

So I remember this place being a mini grocery store that also served tacos on the other half of the store front YEARS AGO - maybe a decade. Now it seems they have changed to a full fledged restaurant, which I am sure that happened a while ago when authentic tacos were gaining popularity! I am glad for them to gain so much respect and business! I started out with ordering tacos and tortas here exclusively as a teen and now they still have wonderful food. What's even better now is that they do have indoor seating and outdoor seating if the weather permits! Awesome service as well. Support this superb restaurant!

This place is the real deal! Wonderful authentic taste in a comfortable atmosphere. Probably the best chorizo I have had and I've had a lot. So good! That alone is worth a return. My wife ordered and let me sample the burrito. Absolutely amazing! Great presentation with added toppings and peppers. Wonderful service. Five star experience

When my El Rodeo taco truck is MIA this will be my new go to. The steak is marinated perfectly. The seafood soup is delicious too. Pretty much feel like I ordered it anywhere in Mexico. I wish they had shrimp lime soup as an app. Been craving it since I came back from Quintana Roo/Yukutan region. But their seafood soup is filling for an entree The salsas and chips are delicious. The red sauce is perfect heat and smokiness and the verde is delicious. The only annoying thing is they advertise free guac and chips with Yelp check in but it's not true. They don't honor it. They need to get it taken down

Just had dinner with some family and the food was fresh and perfectly spicy. The best Mexican food that I've had in the city. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and food came out very fast and hot. All good things to say, will be back soon and save room for the desserts that all look wonderful.

My wife and I eat here at least once a week, everything on the menu has been incredible. Probably the best burritos I've ever had.

I don't know how it's even possible that my husband and U each ordered carne asada and his tasted fine but mine tasted like some weird curry. This place was gross. The meat was full of fat and had zero flavor.

A friend and I saw good reviews for Los Gallos on Yelp and decided to go here. I am so glad we did - this place is phenomenal. The ambience was authentic, our waitress was very nice, and most of all... the food was SO flavorful. I got the shrimp rancheros and they were sublime. Each piece of shrimp had so much taste, everything tasted high quality... it was a big treat. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time! Definite 5/5. SO good.

Everything no the menu is phenomenal but if you love chilaquiles as much as I do, this is the spot! My favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Philadelphia! A must visit!
