Today was my first time going to Misfits Taco. I called on the way to make sure they could accommodate my allergies. The person who answered was very helpful and gave me some recommendations. Their fish tacos were amazing 😋❤️

Ordered online just after 11am today. 5 person order. Scheduled the pickup for 11:45. Order wasn't ready until 12:30. No apology, explanation or attempt to resolve a 45 minute delay on a normal order. This was ordered for a griup of people who get a one hour lunch.

Tried Misfit Tacos tonight for the first time. 10/10. The staff was nice, restaurant was clean and cute atmosphere and the food was DELICIOUS. Will absolutely come back.

My nephew had told his mom of this place and that it was the most legit taco place anywhere locally. So my sister and I went and tried it out. My nephew wasn’t wrong, it was awesome. I had the Istanbul was Constantinople and the other Just Keep Swimming. The first dish, Shawarma season chicken with cucumber, tomato and pickled onions. The second taco; chili citrus baked white fish with pineapple salsa, crispy veg, and cilantro. My sister had two tacos one having cauliflower the other jackfruit, as a protein. Excellent place for vegetarians.
Service was quick and efficient, actually they were patient with us making our choices, which was very nice. Nice offering of bottomless drinks with, besides the usual soda suspects, tea, and juice, such as Watermelon Mint, Mango, etc.
Plan on going back on Wednesday for more tacos.

Got the Kim Jong Yumm tacos with corn tortillas, and noted that I had a gluten allergy while placing my order. When my tacos arrived the server informed me that the kitchen staff had chosen to put the sauce on the side (in small cups) because some of the ingredients had the possibility of cross contamination. This attention to detail is so very much appreciated and incredibly reassuring as a GF (soon to be repeat) customer.

What a surprise! We were looking for a different kind of lunch joint and man, did we find it. Don't even think this is a Mexican restaurant. While the majority of the dishes are served in a taco format, this isn't your abuela's taco truck. The choices are too numerous to mention and the flavour too big to get in one review. I'm going back. Soon.
