Employment practices have many times over the years have violated federal laws many times over the years. The cakes they sell are garbage full of hidden toxins and chemicals undeclared on the product labels. Buyers beware.
Being that this country is constantly being inundated by junk food via greedy, narcissistic and sociopathic companies and their owners and operators at the expense of the public health and wellbeing including their workers. All while claiming to be godly and Christian people. SMH. It is safe to say, this review is not defamation or slander or libel. I have worked at this place and the owner Thomas pavlou has a massive logic speech and attention hyper active disorder. Absolutely everyone has tried to reason with and has been next to impossible to achieve because of being a typical Greek. Thusly many people past and present who have worked here have been unduly stressed to their max and underpaid wages. All while the Pavlov’s they live with luxury vehicles etc with no care in the world other than their image and personas as if they are the most genuine people towards their customers and employees. This is not what is best for the American people or members of a community near and afar. Shame on them. So I will let truth ring out about their business model from behind the scenes. The fruit a tree bears is indeed the fruit produced. A apple tree is indeed not an orange tree. And this is the produce that is made- As a reliable source of dietary and food advice facts about pound cakes and angel food cake and the buisness insider. Yes, Commercially produced angel food cake can be considered junk food due to its high levels of refined sugar, bleached flour, and other processed ingredients, which are often substituted for the traditional components of homemade cake to increase shelf life and lower costs. While traditional angel food cake is naturally fat-free, its commercially made counterpart frequently relies on highly processed additives like pregelatinized starches, chemical leaveners, and whipping aids to mimic the texture achieved by fresh egg whites and pure cake flour. Nutritional concerns High sugar content: The primary ingredients are sugar and refined flour, with the sugar not being offset by fat, leading to a high blood sugar spike. Processed ingredients: To cut costs and increase shelf life, commercial mixes often use dehydrated or frozen egg whites instead of fresh, wheat flour or bleached wheat starch instead of cake flour, and chemical leavening agents like sodium bicarbonate with an acidifier. Additives: Commercial versions may include additives like pregelatinized starch for faster gelatinization, modified soy protein as a whipping aid for dehydrated egg whites, and calcium chloride to balance the pH of the egg whites. Texture modification: Oxidized wheat starch is sometimes added to give the cake a lighter texture, which is another deviation from the traditional recipe. Yes, traditional pound cake is considered junk food because it is high in calories, refined carbohydrates, sugar, and fat, with little nutritional value. While it's a dessert that can be enjoyed occasionally, it is not recommended for regular consumption as part of a healthy diet. Why pound cake is considered junk food High in calories and sugar: Traditional recipes are very dense, with large amounts of butter and sugar contributing to a high calorie count. Refined carbohydrates: Pound cake is made with refined white flour, which is a simple carbohydrate that can spike blood sugar levels. Low in nutrients: Compared to the calories and refined ingredients, it offers very little in terms of vitamins, minerals, or fiber. Contains unhealthy fats: Many recipes use butter, shortening, or oils, which can contribute to high intake of saturated and trans fats.

Visited T&L Bakery and observed the process of them mixing, baking and packing the cakes for delivery. They carefully handled each cake to insure it would arrive in stores looking and tasting the same as when it was baked and they are delicious. Try one and I'm sure you will agree.

I keep ordering this cake every time I go grocery shopping. This is my favorite out of all other cakes . To whoever preparing it: Keep up the good work. I finally got a cake that I like with flavors that take me back to my roots. The best cake ever with the best, well put together ingredients.
My brother-in-law picked up one of your Angel food cakes for dessert from the Grocery Outlet in our small town in Alabama and I have to say it was the best Angel Food cake we have ever had and was delicious with strawberries and low fat cool whip. The fact that it is only 89 calories a slice is definitely a plus! We went back and bought 2 more a few days later. Can’t wait to try a fresh one the next time we visit TN.

I had T&L's Angel Food cake for breakfast today. This bakery is owned by dear friends of mine and they put their hearts and soul into all of the yummy goodness that comes out of their ovens. They sell wholesale to grocers, so tell your local bakery manager that you want T&L Baking goods available to you!
I can't wait when my wonderful aunt comes to visit and brings her awesome cakes!! Lucky me, I've gotten to enjoy them my whole life!
