We we t to true to celebrate our 56th anniversary. My husband ordered a market salad, a filet which came with mashed potatoes. I wanted to order the tiramisu for dessert so I only ordered rolls for the two of us and a market salad. They brought his salad before mine and I noticed he wasn’t eating it. He said it was too salty. It had LOTS of parmesan cheese so I asked the server if I could have less parmesan on my salad. When it came there was still so much parmesan I couldn’t eat it. I love fresh Parmesan but this looked like what comes in a jar and that kind has added salt. The server was very apologetic and offered to get me another salad but by that time my husband was finished eating so I just declined another salad. The server gave us tiramisu and creme brulee free as well as the salad. He was very professional and courteous. The tiramisu just tasted like chocolate pudding with some cookies and whipped cream. Not a good experience.
I believe this place was the Eagles Nest or something like that before and luckily it wasn't just their name that changed. The food is way better now that previously. The schnitzel was breaded and cooked perfectly and the pasta was full of flavor. Dessert was even better. Reasonably priced for what they had and I always appreciate a simple menu and not one that is 5 pages long. Service was a bit slow and the atmosphere is ok. Overall great place to stop for a bite to eat and a cocktail.
We celebrated our anniversary at True and it was a lovely experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was fantastic, and sitting on the patio listening to live jazz (which they have on Wednesdays and Fridays) made the experience even more memorable. We will definitely go back!
I’d like to brag on the chef at True again- had a seared tuna appetizer that he created last night that was in my opinion perfect. Must try!! We are so Lucky to have this quality of food in Cleveland!Oh and the bartender serves The best gin martini on the rocks - exceptional Evening (atmosphere, food, bartender, very good price)
We had an amazing experience! We don't live far, but hadn't tried here until tonight. Everyone was very polite, the food was phenomenal, and the service was quick. You can't go wrong having a nice dinner out here! Ask for Austin as your server; he was kind, attentive, and made sure my wife and I had an amazing dinner. We will be back!
First time here, won't be out last. I had the wedge salad to start. Let me tell you, best wedge salad I've had. The Bleu cheese dressing was deliciousness not overpowering like Bleu cheese can be. Also, the bacon piece's were crispy, not salty at all. So good. For my entree I had the True Pasta. OMG...Just delicious! It comes with house made pasta, shrimp, lemon Cajun butter, tomatoes, basil. I can't describe how good this dish was. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his Margherita Pizza. The ambiance was also very relaxing and inviting. Our waiter was a nice young gentleman who was very attentive. This place is a must if you live in Cleveland, especially for a date night with the hunny ?
Everything was great. Only thing I'd suggest is to add red wine glass options from outside the US and side salad options. I ate there while on business trip so eating for one i chose the filet and mashed potatos which was DELICIOUS. The steak was cook perfectly with great flavor and seared perfectly on top but I would have like to have had a green as a side (Asparagus or side wedge salad would have topped of nicely)! Highly recommend eating here and plan to go again!
Very nice dinner experience with friends. Food, atmosphere and server were excellent. Will go back.
In the time my wife, family, and I have dined there, it has been fantastic. The food and service are excellent. And I would love to someday play music on open mike night. Thanks True for being True to excellence in fine dining!
Wow! What a hidden gem! The food, the atmosphere, the service, the True hospitality offered by all from the hostess to Chef True....it was all amazing! Wesley True, you and your team have earned us as customers and friends. See you soon!

Excellent across the board! Tru Pasta, Creme Brulee and server Tanner was so nice and attentive. Excellent New Years Eve Dinner!!
From garlic tolls, amazing chicken sandwich, margarita pizza and creme Brule, it was top notch.
A local gem. Great food, staff and atmosphere. Stopped in for drinks and appetizers after work. Baked ricotta and wood fired pizza were outstanding. On Friday's there is live music on the patio.
Tonight was my first night going there. I sat at the bar. I ordered the burger. It was good you can definitely tell it was made to chefs choice. The bar service was atrocious. I counted 8 people behind the bar at one point all conversating and my drink was empty for 30 minutes. Will I go back? Yes. I'll try the table service and see if it's any better. Since the food, you can tell, is made with passion. Will I ever sit at the bar again? Most likely not. I gave it 3 stars. Truthfully it's about 2.9
Easily the best restaurant in the Chattanooga area. The Cleveland hot chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce tasted like something from Arthurian legend, with the pickles on top it was an excellent start to the meal. Our drinks tasted like tears falling from the eyes of a father on his daughters wedding day. The Pasta was like a wine buzz and making love in a grassy valley of the foothills of Sicily. My taste buds are still twerking hours after we've been home. If there were 10 stars to give, I'd give 12.
