I already have positive feelings about Buddy’s Bar-B-Q because it was so much fun and felt so special to go as a child with my grandparents. I didn’t love having to go to the one connected to a gas station but we made it work. When my children, grandfather and I were running errands in the area we were ecstatic to find a Buddy’s in Clinton and stopped in to eat. The food was very typical for Buddy’s (not complaining) but I don’t remember being offered extra meat for a little more money on the order we usually place at the other Buddy’s. I assume the person taking the orders was learning and I don’t hold that against them. It will come in time. What really stood out to us was the atmosphere. It was outstandingly beautiful! The bathrooms were quite clean and it was nice to see an employee wiping tables down and making an effort to maintain the cleanliness of the dining area while we ate. I appreciated that the employee wiped things down, gathered used trays and didn’t disturb our meal in the process. I know restaurants have to clean but I despise when a worker aggressively sprays chemicals on a nearby table close enough to our food to land on it! I’m not sure I remember that person spraying anything anyway (brain is too tired to remember) but it’s a pet peeve of mine and I’m glad it didn’t happen mid meal. There were more people inside than I expected but it certainly wasn’t crowded. The whole atmosphere just seemed new and fresh. Hopefully it will stay that way! We love the vibe of this place. It feels so authentic to Buddy’s Bar-B-Q!

This will probably be our last order from Buddy's... lost a customer! Every single time we go through the drive thru they forget something. Might as well change your name to McDonald's.

Tired of them never putting sauce in door dashes. Even when I pay extra for them. Not ordering from this one again. 5 times this has happened.

Ordered the pulled chicken dinner with corn and Mac and cheese. Everything was cold or Luke warm so I waited for a new order. The corn and hush puppies were fresh everything else was still cold or Luke warm. Nice staff but that doesn’t make up for cold food. Never coming back here again.

Great service, friendly staff and super food, everything buddy's is and this one is right on top!! Fresh food!!! We really enjoyed it and will go back!!!!

Although I love eating at Buddy’s, I have been informed that a manager there, Jay, had comments made about him liking to hug little girls from behind. There was a big scandal about it internally, until Jay was moved to a different location. I am disappointed that instead of being held accountable, he is being moved to a different location. I believe this was swept under the rug. I was under the impression that this was a Christian company, but this doesn’t seem like Christian values to me.

Purchased a lb of pulled pork. When returning home with it. It looked like ground beef. Manger did not care said it was supposed to look like that. Will never be back

The young man working, the front counter was multitasking, placing orders, getting food to the trays, and making sundaes. The staff were friendly and the food was exceptional. We had a very good experience.
