El Indio is…INTENSE. The restaurant is long and narrow, with only one aisle, creating a freeway of activity in the center. All staff wear earpieces, taking instructions and hurrying around at a frenzied pace. Guests in this aisle instinctively pick up their pace to match. This is NOT a Mexican restaurant where you feel at leisure nor will you experience a laid back discussion with the staff. However, it is interesting to watch the military style activity. First time there yesterday! I was a little worried at first because we had a group of about 20 coming in from a kayaking trip. This place is alot bigger than it looks. I was here several times around 15 years ago and never liked the food. We came here about a month ago and the food was absolutely outstanding!!! I've had the fajitas, fajita chicken salad, pork roast, pork chops and it's all great!!! We have been here every weekend ever since!!!
