$40 for two dishes of take out and it was a VERY small portion. They used a large (mostly empty) container to take up room in the box and put in about 1/2 tbs of peanuts to try to make the box look full.

VERY disappointed... Been going to Bangkok Alley for over 10 years in Collierville, and for the most part, always get same thing.. Basil Fried Rice.. Recipe is unique with plenty of onions and peppers. Last visit, HIGHLY disappointed to see recipe has changed with no peppers, and replaced with CARROTS and broccoli. Just NOT good and highly disappointed. I guess new management felt compelled to break something that wasn't broken.

Food was well prepared. The Pad Thai is without any spicy heat to it, so if you like it hotter, let your server know.

My boss and I came here without a reservation, they sat us at bar and then made us get up after “because this was reserved” for the people who walked in behind us. We were already seated with our menus & then they proceeded to ask us if we wanted to be put on the 30 min wait list. That was very unprofessional in my opinion

We went there to celebrate my birthday. I really don’t understand why this restaurant got 500 good reviews on Google. We ordered papaya salad, grilled pork papaya salad combo, satay chicken and shrimp basil fried rice. Everything was too salty. Papaya salad vegetables had rotten taste. Fried rice was too wet and had too much vegetables in it. Grilled pork papaya salad was not worth $21. The portions was too small for the price. The pork was very dry, over cooked and too salty. Satay was only 3 skewers and too dry. We were supposed to go to Thai Nine sushi downtown but they closed for renovations. My husband wanted Thai food. We don’t have other options since driving to downtown and came back already 8 pm on Wednesday nights. Every Thai restaurant is closed at 9 pm. I was right about the rotten papaya salad since I had to go to the bathroom immediately after we got home. This was not the first time that the food are bad. It’s used to be good before Covid-19. Now both locations are bad. They should compare their food with good Thai restaurant s in this area eg Mai Pai Thai restaurant in Jonesboro, AR, Thai Hut in Como, MS or Rice and Spice in Oxford, MS or Thai Nine Sushi downtown Memphis.

WORST THAI FOOD EVER!I am wondering how they could run a restaurant with this type of food. We had tomyum soup, pad kee mao, and nam tok beef salad. The tomyum tasted like cold water with vinegar and some raw mushrooms in it. Pad Kee Mao looked sloppy af, the noodle was basically bland, even the egg was just like they threw fried egg on the dish. The Namtok Beef Salad was alright, just basically grilled beef with some spring mix. Everything was horrible. Seems like they hired a white guy first time cooking in the kitchen.

We’ve moved here from Virginia for work and I’m so happy to see a Thai restaurant near my house. So we visit there for a dinner. The atmosphere is very nice, and service is good too. However, their food is not as my expectation, I mean it’s not too bad, not great. The appetizers calamari, Rangoon that We ordered tasty but the shrimp Pad Thai for my mom, and 2 beef drunken noodles for me and my husband, both of noodles are not tender enough for the stir- fried. We’ve been eating a lot of Thai restaurants in Virginia so I know how Thai authentic food is. In stead of the sliced beef in drunken noodles- stir fried, they changed a piece of sliced beef steak in order to make the dish particularly?? And I don’t see the specific sauce or taste of the drunken noodles as the dish always has.

This once was one of my favorite restaurants but my last visit may have changed that. I'm not sure if it was just an off night for the cook but I was very disappointed. I always get Chicken Pad Prik and my last visit it wasn't very good. I'm not sure what was done differently but it sure didn't taste like it use to. I also ordered a sushi roll and it was terrible. It was mushy as if it was wet or something. I let my waitress know and she just said she would like him know. It would have been nice if she would have offered to remove it from my bill since I didn't eat but 2 pieces, and the only reason I ate a second one was because I wanted to make sure it wasn't just that one piece that might have gotten wet or whatever it was that made it be that way. Unfortunately I also use to love their sushi rolls but after my last experience I wouldn't recommend anyone to get sushi here. If they continue with their dishes being like this I'm not sure how well they will do for the future. If everyone that eats here gets the experience I did my last time I would be surprised if they stay in business for the next year.

Pad Thai is always excellent here, and I loved the egg drop soup appetizer. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is high end. Highly recommended!
