First time at Gus’ and it won’t be the last!
I was visiting from out of town and decided to stop by — so glad I did! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent. What really made the experience stand out was the service. Kim was my server and she was absolutely awesome — friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. She really went above and beyond. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this spot. The chicken came out hot, crisp, and juicy with just the right touch of spice. Sides like baked beans and slaw rounded things out simply but well. The no-frills setting kept the focus squarely on the food, and it delivered.

I ordered a chicken breast & two legs, potato salad, and a slice of pecan pie. The food was ok, nothing to go out of your way for. One thing to note: unlike many restaurants, the food was hot when it got to my table. It literally melted the plastic fork I was given to eat my food.
