The food is tasty but when I get delivery my sandwiches always comes under-toasted. It has happened 4 out of 5 times. It makes the sandwich chewy & I have to deconstruct the sandwich & toast the bread in my oven then eat it.

I really love the salads and sandwiches here, but the service could use some improvement. The cashier/order taker was visibly frustrated, annoyed, and short with me. I’m always in a good happy mood and to be treated like an annoyance inside of business that you’re about to spend over $16 by yourself for lunch is pretty weird. Newk's is a counter-service upscale deli, and for that it's pretty good. The ingredients were fresh, the bisque was hot, but I advise you to get your dressing on the side, as my salad was overdressed.
The service was quick and efficient, but as it was lunch time, interactions with staff were abbreviated.
The café was clean and the drink station was well-stocked.
