Pure gold in Columbia! We visited Bag of Joy Bagel Co on a weekend trip and were met with the BEST customer service and friendly owner, who keeps a smile and conversation with every customer, even with a line out the door to get his bagels. The bagels themselves were incredible, and we felt even more touched by the kind conversation and customer service with the owner and other customers.

I stumbled on this place and was astonished to see a bagel place in Columbia! The owner opened the closed door and let me in!! How kind is that. Now, my childhood growing up on the south side of Chicago in the Jewish community I can tell you that these boiled and baked bagels are perfect and quite possibly the best I've had in a very long time! I wish I lived closer 😪 Oh, BTW, he cut me a deal on the bagels that were left over for the day. Kind people, great product. Run don't walk!! You need this bagel.

Such good bagels! So friendly, so fresh, so damn good! Also tried the sausage pinwheel this time and WHAT?! I didn’t want to share with my wife. We’ve never had anything there we didn’t love but the jalapeño cheese is our favorite.
Ordered 5 dozen bagels for the office. They were delicious and a favorite!!! Blueberry bagel with strawberry lemon schmear is amazing

This place holds a special place in our hearts 🥰 the service is top notch, he’s always so personable and friendly (it feels wrong not knowing his name lol), and the bagels are to DIE FOR. We had the sausage pinwheels yesterday and they were phenomenal as well. You can’t go wrong with Bag of Joy 🙌🏼
