We met another couple at 37 Cedar Restaurant for her birthday. Our table was large enough to accommodate the cake and presents we brought. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. Our food was delicious and exactly as we ordered it. Great atmosphere and very cool wall decorations. We will be back!

Good restaurant with vibe. Very friendly and attentive staff who looked after us and our wishes very well. The food was something different but very good. Good drinks and very fine seasonal, special beers.
Any time.

Stopped in for lunch traveling through. They were super busy and not much staff, so the service was a little slow but not bad. Good happy hour food and drinks per the message board. We got the club which was ginormous! Perfectly crispy bacon. Bread lightly toasted to not scratch your palate. Would definitely stop in again!

Come here for lunch, when we are in Cookeville asked for rare tuna on tuna BLt came out raw, cold, and not blackened. It's ashamed we used to adore this place

I used to love 37 Cedar for the food, but I’ve had a couple bad experiences. I think I was roofied one evening, and my most recent experience was very bad service by the owner. In a crowded bar, I understand and wait patiently to be served. When approached by ithe only female bartender, I offered the two people near me to be served first because I knew they had been waiting before I walked up. Then the owner walks up to help out. Without asking who’s next, he immediately offers to serve a group of three people who had just walked up. I tried to tell them I had been waiting, but they said nothing, and the owner got angry with me for even suggesting that I said something.and told me to wait my turn. Sadly, I was with three other people, And then the owner refused to serve me because I had the nerve to suggest that I had been waiting for 15 minutes. All four of us walked out, and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I’m friendly and I’m female,, but when an owner who’s working the bar acts like a boy in high school, I see no reason to return. i’m sure the bar/restaurant is doing great, but I’m more confident in myself and my ability to earn more than he does. I’ll take my money and friends elsewhere.

Traveling through Cookville. Listed as a top restaurant. Got there. Very limited menu and no flexibility to order even something as basic as biscuits and gravy. After being seated, some balding male employee with glasses (serving as the host) walked through and said we’d have to move (“we’re gonna have to figure something else out”) our table because he didn’t have a clear walk through. Felt a lil insulted. Menu was limited. Service was okay-a lil slow. Ordered fried chicken sandwich; my guest ordered breakfast. The meals were very good. After leaving, the insult from the host really stayed with me - totally unnecessary!

Blake our server was very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent, we had the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, very good! I had the 12 oz Prime Rib, melt in your mouth tender and perfect, with twice baked potato and Brussel sprouts, to die for!! My husband had the Pan seared Salmon with Gouda cheese grits and asparagus, oh my!! Hand crafted cocktails, the Summer Spritzer was refreshing! Please, if you are anywhere near Cookeville TN do yourself a favor and visit 37 Cedar!!!

We have been trying all the restaurants in this area over time, and last night was 37 Cedars. It did not disappoint. The service was kind of slow, but the owner was explaining to some friends next to us that they were training several new hires, so no big deal. It happens. Our server, Karin, was great. Super friendly, gave explanations, and advice when asked. I started with a half order of spinach salad, which had candied pecans, cranberries, feta cheese, red onions, and a pineapple vinaigrette dressing. I could have eaten that salad all night. It was amazing. Next we, (my wife and I. It was date night.) had the Ol' 37 burger. It was fantastic. All the flavors combined were like fireworks in your mouth. Half bacon, half beef burger, red onion sweet jam, gorgonzola cheese with some herbs that threw in another round of flavor. Cooked to perfection. All on a homemade bun. French fries were also homemade and cut thick. Crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect, in my opinion. Lot of drink options. Check it out. It is not a burger joint. We were just craving burgers all week. They have plenty of food options. We were shocked by the price. We typically spend around $80 on date night once a month and walked out of there for under $60 (which includes tip).

We had brunch here last weekend. Prepare yourself for the BEST biscuit EVER!
The chicken was so crispy and juicy! The portions are huge. This was the most delicious restaurant food I've had in awhile!
We sat out on the patio and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our waitress was outstanding.
We don't live in Cookville, but we will be eating here every chance we get!
Parking: Great place to take guests you want to impress!

Came here for some food before a concert and liked it so much we came back after the concert for food and drinks again. I enjoyed the place and the blue cheese wedge salad so much I came back by myself which can be kind of anxious for me so a huge shout out to my server Karin F. for making me feel super welcome!

We have eaten here several times and so far I've never had anything the wasn't excellent.
Stopped by for brunch on Saturday and I had the prime rib breakfast quesadilla and my wife had an open face biscuit with steak, eggs and gravy. I definitely need to go back in the next few weeks.
