My son eats at Bobby Q's every Saturday. I haven't eaten from here since the new owners bought it. My son brought me some food today and I was actually impressed. I ordered the kids catfish because I have stomach issues and cannot eat a lot. I ordered the kids catfish sandwich with hush puppies and fries. My plate was huge. There's enough for me to eat on all day. The catfish was really good and so were the hush puppies. The filets are huge and the hush puppies are huge. I will definitely order from Bobby Q's again.
Best ribs and the crispiest and lightest hushpuppies ever. Also the loaded potato casserole was like a loaded baked potato without the work and the dry potato at the bottom. Highly recommend
Had a party of 6 and the family pack options were a good value and plenty for everyone. We'll be back!

Stopped here for the first time and loved it! Family of 5 plus a guest and we ordered 3 family meals to feed everyone and have some leftovers to take home. The St. Louis ribs were tender and fell off the bone. The 1# of shredded pork was good and we also enjoyed the whole chicken.
The teens loved the Mac and Cheese. The green beans, Cole slaw and broccoli salad were good. The cucumber salad was very fresh and packed a tart vinegar punch.
When you order pulled pork, skip the buns and ask for the hush puppies. They are really good!
Next time we are passing through, we will get off I-40 and drive into town to get more BBQ and check out their famous banana pudding.

Try an optional beer battered catfish in addition to your highly abrasive corn meal choice. Grilled with no coating is also wonderful for some. I like your place and location but found the prices a bit high. See you soon.
If you remember the old Bobby Qs food and expect the same you will be disappointed. Some of the food, like the fried chicken, is great and some, like the barbecue, is mediocre. Service is great but seating isn't super comfortable.

Update on my earlier review, the catfish is fantastic. Big, meaty pieces of fish, breaded and fried to perfection. Highly recommend if you are a catfish fan.

Let me start by saying this restaurant is really good. I had the pork sandwich and it was delicious. The portion size is a plus, and it definitely is a PLUS! The Mac and cheese was also really good. I highly recommend them and will be back. Thank you!

This is a prime example of how to take the life's work of someone who has achieved excellence and take a big steaming dump all over it while rubbing it in the face of the community that has loved and supported it for decades. The only positive thing remaining, and likely the only reason it still gets a trickle of business, is its location. Other than possibly the slaw, the only thing even remotely related to the original Bobby Q's is the name on the building. The fish is NOT even close to the same, I don't care what they claim. I've been 3 times since the takeover in an effort to give it a fair chance. On my 1st visit, I asked for fries with my catfish. I was told they no longer have fries because they don't do well under the heat lamp. This is both sad and hilarious. If I want catfish that's been under a heat lamp, I'll go the Minit Mart and get it for half the price. What this restaurant once was, it is no more.

Tried them first last year while on vacation and have been thinking about it for a year! Finally got to have them again yesterday and I think they’re actually better!
The St. Louis style pork ribs were spot on!??? had the right amount of fat and almost finished a whole rack with my husband. Corn bread was sweet and delicious, just like how i like it!
