My wife and I had seen Char driving thru town and randomly decided to pop in tonight for dinner after a friend and his wife had to cancel some plans with us at home. We were greeted shortly after walking in the door (maybe 20 seconds) by Theresa who seated us and was our server. She was friendly and as the night progressed, quite endearing, sharing info about her children and just being cool. My wife got a glass of wine, and then chose crabcakes appetizers and sweet potato fries to eat. I had earlier been talking about chili with a coworker, and that was the first thing I saw on the menu. I ordered that, and regular fries, as sides, alongside the NY Strip as my entree. It was all perfectly cooked and hot as it should be. I gave five stars because it was all delicious, as was the service. The atmosphere was relaxed and the patrons all were smiling and enjoying their conversations, which is also a good sign to me that their food was good to them as well. Best crabcakes in this area. I let “Autie Resa” know, who told the chef (Sam?) how we felt. We plan on going back to this establishment soon and trying some of their other dishes, but I will have the crabcakes as appetizers again, and will get some of their delicious chili to have as a snack at home’for football games this winter. My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Cookeville and decided to try a nice steakhouse in the area. The atmosphere was nice and dark. I don’t usually get steak, but it would’ve been silly not too this time. We got the cheese stick roulette as a starter, and I got the 8 oz. filet mignon with broccoli and spaghetti, and it was so tender and delicious! My husband got a lobster tail with his 16 oz. ribeye and it was also delicious. If we’re in the area again, we definitely will consider going back!
Parking: We went later, so we didn’t pay for parking, but it was on the street.

We went in for the first time and really enjoyed the place. Service and food are good. We enjoyed everything we ordered from salsa to steaks and will return.

Kid-friendliness: They have a good kid's menu, but my kid wanted a steak so he got a NY Strip Med Well and it was perfect.

There is so much to say about this place. Great atmosphere, had a fantastic server, the pours were generous and when i tell you that 16oz prime rib was cut thick i mean she was THICKK. Our server was super sweet and very attentive literally made our evening so fun. 5 stars would definitely get the meat sweats here again.

The food we have had was pretty good, as well as the service.
But their ice machines clearly need cleaned because my water tasted like mold. So I ordered a seltzer water and that also tasted like mold.
This is my second time here and both times the water tasted like mold.
I also didn't like their green beans. And their blue cheese crab sauce that costs $4 extra didn't taste like blue cheese the second time I went.

Great value! Go here and eat like a King without breaking your wallet. Sweet tea is excellent. My only two complaints are the green beans aren't good and some of the help could be a bit more aware of customers and less chatty with each other. I wish I could remember my favorite server's name, because after our 2nd visit, she remembered our drinks! Very good. You'll know if you get her.

Sydney was AWESOME. The steaks were perfect. You need to clone that cook. We were on our way home to NorthEast Tennessee from Vanderbilt medical Center. We looked up for something out of the mainstream. It was worth the 2 mile drive into town from the interstate. We will revisit.
Sydney our waitress was a delight. charming and friendly, we were one of only a few patrons at that hour They ran out of bread. We were driving after 7 from Nashville airport. Needed dinner. Looked up a place along the way (we were going to Kroger. Down the street. Not bad food, decent prices too

We have been meaning to try this place for a long time. Every drink my party wanted to try on a Saturday night, they had to check to see if they where able to do it . She kept coming back with we don't have that one, so we had never ran into that before here in cookeville. The food was good but nothing special. The bathroom had no toilet paper and the floor was so sticky your shoes stuck to it making it difficult to walk. This was my 63rd birthday night so I was a little bummed that we got out in the rain from Helen to come here it didn't hold up to what we expected.

My daughter brought me here for my birthday. I loved the atmosphere and decor. The rock bench at the entryway was really cool. So was the water wall behind it. The food was really good. I had the flat iron steak with a baked potato and mac and cheese. The food was so good! My steak was so delicious, melted in my mouth! Mac and cheese was really, really good. Noodles were not overcooked and mushy. Just perfect. And you just can't go wrong with a baked potato! I definitely will be going back!!
