Hardwoods Smokehouse and Catering

Hardwoods catered my son and DIL’s wedding rehearsal and the food was delicious!! They arrived on time, helped set everything up, and were great to work with. All of the food was delicious, but the brisket was the favorite! I can’t recommend them more for your event or catering needs.

I ordered a brisket meal. The coleslaw and potato salad were good. On the other hand, the brisket was very fatty and greasy. Not impressed.

Smoky pulled pork piled high, crisp slaw, soft bun… simple and done right.
Loaded mac & cheese with brisket and beans brought big flavor—slightly drier than we prefer, but still delish.
Super reasonable price point, picnic table to sit and actually enjoy it, and the kind of friendly, personal service that makes a quick stop even better.

Wanted a local, quick stop BBQ joint off I40–Hardwoods fit the bill perfectly. Brisket was as good as TX but in TN. Grilled cheese on Crack sandwich lived up to its name, yum. Road side food truck with a few shaded tables and super friendly owners. Great experience all around!

Absolutely LOVE this place! We eat at their food truck in Carthage every Tuesday! Don't even have to give my order anymore 😆 once I call he knows exactly what I want...BBQ NACHOS!!! Love how they use Doritos, first time we ordered them and saw it wasn't regular tortillas, we were like a bunch of kids in a candy store!!

Sweetest couple we chatted and they told us about a good ice cream spot to head to after. Just passing through town and wanted some good bbq well we found just the place! Pulled pork was amazing as well as the brisket!

Awesome food truck! Great friendly service. We were glad to stumble upon them at Calfkiller Brewing. We enjoyed the chicken nachos, they were made with Doritos— awesome choice as some tortilla chips can be too salty. We also enjoyed the brisket plate with homemade baked potato salad and smoked Mac n cheese.

Stopped by on the way home after a massage and was not disappointed at all. The food was better than I anticipated, the portion sizes were wonderfully generous! Most of all, the staff was incredibly friendly. They even sat and had a little chitchat with me.
I had the heart attack, and the loaded mac & cheese & tried the spicy sauce. Very pleased and very happy with what I got for my moneys worth. I will absolutely be back soon!

Stopped on a weekday. Food was great and the service was very welcoming. The smoked turkey was a great choice. We were in town long enough to go back on rib night. Well worth another stop.We will look you up again, next time we are in town.
