We usually go to Holograms on Thursday for wing night. But tonight will be the last night. Took 45 min each time we ordered our wings, the owner acted like he didn’t know us even tho we’ve been going there for 10 yrs, one of the waiters that had a big chip on his shoulder and wouldn’t acknowledge us and wouldn’t let the other other waitresses talk to us and he was watching then like a Hawk. WTH is up with that? We’ll go spend our money some where else and enjoy the atmosphere some where else and not have to deal with the smoke and crappy attitudes at Hooligans.

Pretty good place we got wings which were awesome and chips and queso which was very watery. Nice strong pours from the bartender(always a plus). Back home there isn't smoking inside bars so that was not to our liking but overall wasn't overwhelming.

Good crowd for a Tennessee football game, the waitress was great. People were friendly. Good to be back in Tennessee around some good Tennessee folks. Go Vols!

I'm Rick, I drive from Nashville once a month to hangout with one of my racing buddies. We always come to Hooligans to eat, most of the time I get their ghost pepper wings! Better than any wings in Nashville and Josh always hooks us up!!! I recommend if you're in Cookeville, give it a try...you won't be disappointed!

The best wings I've ever had. The wings were perfectly cooked crisp outer skin with a world of juiciness waiting inside. I've traveled the United States and even to the birthplace of Buffalo chicken wings at Duffs and Anchor Bar and I must say it's time Hooligans fills out adoption papers since neither current Buffalo parents are fit to claim the birthrights to these beloved chicken wings now. Maybe switched at birth because Hooligans is insanely the proud new favorite wing owner title in my journey thus far. Congratulations!

This is a real drinkers bar with smoking 🚬.
Great staff and the food is good, and the drinks are not watered down, it's not a foo,foo bar 😁🤩

September 30, 2024 - This Irish ☘️ Pub would be one of my favorite gathering places for so many reasons . . . but ?
On our way to the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico. . . My wife and I Googled Irish Pubs, we hit on Hooligans , so we tried it ! Lively, Monday Night Football playing on 7 TVs! Good crowd enjoying their beers, their food, their friends, and their cigarettes!
Although most tables had smokers, we stayed, didn’t complain, and enjoyed our beers, food, and NFL game on tv. We asked our server, Kayla about the pub’s smoking policy? She said the owners installed good air filtering system ( which I had to agree)!
Smoking isn’t part of our world, so we probably won’t return. My only suggestion would be to have a disclaimer on their website, and front door. Smoking in a restaurant should be up front, especially if 1st time visitors are unaware, and might enter with young children. Otherwise, folks can make their own decisions.
I do like Irish pubs, and traveled to Ireland to sample first hand their lovely island, culture, food, beers, and music . 😃☘️🍺👍🏼
Not sure when this pub first opened? I hope they stay true to their Irish roots! Shepherd’s Pie is on the menu ( ground beef instead of lamb) . Would like to see/hear some Irish music ? We’ve heard some great Irish performers in Ireland! 🇮🇪 Have the wait staff pronounce “ Smithwicks “ the Irish way! ☘️
Overall, I liked the food, and vibe here at Hooligans Half Irish Pub . . . maybe without the Smoking 😎

Our favorite hangout. Very reasonably priced. Awesome crowd, always welcoming. Gr8 food and best wings in TN. Especially on Thursdays.
FYI .. Strict on the 21 n up.
