True Authentic Mexican! Best we've found in ten years and we hunt for great Mexican food. This place is definitely not fancy. It's family. Lightly fired Empanadas and rolled Tacos and Spoes. And real Horchata made my wife smile. This is a must stop place

Stopped in town on a road trip and found this place on here - great little find. Cozy little house setup, cash only, but well worth it. Had tacos (carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor) and a sope. All were delicious. Very traditional - would definitely eat here again! The family running it were very friendly, too.

This place right here cannot be compared. if you ever want to try authentic Mexican food right they make it on the spot nothing is ever heated up or bought in a can the best food you could ever try honestly chilaquiles is my Favorite but it's very simple for everyone but if you add chicken oh my, but the empanadas and tostadas are the best you could try if its cheap you're going for pretty dang tasty honestly

I was visiting from Houston where we have really good authentic Mexican food... Cookeville you should be lined out the door for this food.. excellent, authentic Mexican food. I had the chilaquiles and they were spot on!

Enjoyed lunch here today. This is a small place (4-5 tables)in a house, and there is no sign out front. With food this good pretty soon it won’t matter if they have a sign. VERY authentic cuisine— huaraches, tacos, tostadas, tamales and more. Lengua and chorizo options. A real mom and pop operation and you can tell they put their heart and soul into the business. They have daily specials after 4 PM like tacos for 99 cents. Close to TN Tech campus. Very clean. Cash only. Highly recommended.

Lovely family owned business with INCREDIBLE food. We were in town for two days and ate lunch here both days. If we had stayed longer, we probably would've gotten a third meal. Great place for a fast, affordable lunch. Ingredients tasted fresh and their green sauce is magical.
