Went there yesterday and started off the soup tasted off. The salad was meh. Waited forever to get my food. When it arrived the rice was cold the scallops were cold and very under cooked. I spit it out didn't even try anything else because I was told that the shrimp wasn't cooked and the chicken didn't taste right. Then when we said it was inedible they charged us for the soup which was still sitting untouched on the table, the salad and the drinks. It was so bad that we just went home because we lost our appetites. If I could give this restaurant a negative I would give it a -☆☆☆☆☆it ruined my night off say if you're looking for good food this definitely isn't the place you want to go to. If you want possible food poisoning you might get that here.

My shirmp was undercooked, including the vegetables. The chicken tasted horrible as well. Basically, I took 4 bites of the meal and couldn't finish it. They still charged us for the drinks and salad. Unbelievable!

Strange. All the negatives I have read did not exist when I came to eat. I always try to give a place a chance and not go off what people say. Everything was clean. Service was excellent, flavors were spot on for real Japanese (not Americanized overly sugary flavors). I enjoyed my meal. It reminded me of my Aunt's flavors (when she owned a Japanese restaurant) which was little blast to my past. My son is a very picky with his food, and he loved the upon and filet mignon.
Little Kobe is great! Staff are super friendly and inviting!

I should of believed the reviews. It was terrible. I've been searching for good sushi in cookeville. NOT HERE! The ginger wasn't even good. 2 rolls n a soup 40$ , I don't mind paying but this was barely edible. Oh well, live n learn. I feel sorry for the server. He must know the sushi sux.

My chicken was in big chucks and the ends appeared to have been cooked twice. It was hard and dry. My veggies weren’t even cooked. The rice was overcooked and soggy. My shrimp was not cooked. It tasted raw. . I’ve ate there many times and never have I been unable to eat the food. When I came into the restaurant it was so smokey like they had burnt something. I don’t think there ventilation system works. When I got home I smelled like the restaurant. I called and tried to explain and the owner was rude and kept telling me that that’s how they cook the food. I continued to explain that I have never got a meal there and it be so bad. If that’s the way he cooks the food now, I won’t be back.

Our food was delicious, the best steak Hibatchi I’ve had in years, and the customer service was excellent. Also, the restaurant and floors were very clean!! We will definitely be back.
Very friendly staff! Gave me all the time I needed to figure out what I wanted ?The sushi was absolutely perfect, and the yum-yum sauce had just enough flavor to add to the sushi and not overpower it like some other places do. I'll be back to try more rolls!

Me and my wife came here to eat for lunch. I got the chicken teriyaki which was the driest chicken I've ever had. She got the teriyaki shrimp which the shrimp was not washed or prepped properly, it was very, very dirty. She didn't eat any of her meal. I politely asked the manager to take the shrimp off our tab since she didn't touch it and he yelled in our face that we were paying for the dirty food. We were the only people in there (not surprising). Horrible customer service I highly recommend driving right past little kobe and going to Fuji. Much better food and great service!

love it here! the staff is always so nice and funny!! definitely make it a fun experience while dining! food is always amazing and hearty portions!
