Smallest Panera Bread I have ever seen. No fireplace ?.Food: Soup was good & hot. Salad was doused heavily with the spice of pepper. Since when?Atmosphere: the floor was littered. The garbage and dish stations needed attention.

Ummm, "sorry, we are out of bread". So, Panera Bread, you're out of bread? It is literally in your name and you have now? Wow!

I've been here twice and had the same experience at the register both times. The young lady at the registers is oblivious to customers at the counter and I had to get her attention both times as she seemed to be in her own world. I got a half sandwich the first go, and got a whole sandwich the second go. Was surprised to find out the whole sandwich was as big as a half sandwich cut in half. Didn't know you could get a baguette as a side as it was never offered, just chips. My 2nd go, I guess it was friends night at Panara because they had their friend sitting at the pick up counter eating his meal spread across the counter. Trash on the floor at the pick up counter, but there was another young lady sweeping in the restaurant. I won't go back, but I did enjoy the flavor of the sandwich.

Went to this Panera in Cookeville, TN and the lady at the register who took our order ruined our family lunch. We spent over $60 for 3 people on sandwiches. Managers need to realize that the cashiers are the first people we encounter when dining at their restaurants and thus you need people that are friendly, exercise great customer service and want to make you come back. I did speak to the manager and hope he resolves the issue. Jennifer needs to be moved to a different position within the restaurant. This was the 2nd time while visiting family in Cookeville. I will not be back to this location.

I know Panera is overpriced, so I typically avoid it. Had a gift card sitting around and finally decided to use it. It’s never made sense to me that a bread BOWL comes with a CUP of soup. I just got a cup of broth with maybe 3 noodles. The $7 smoothie tasted like milk and had a gross consistency. I threw it away. Bagel was thin and not sliced. Definitely the last time I dine here.

I placed an order on their iPad on the way in. I had no contact with anyone other than when I picked up our food. All the tables that did not have people at them were dirty and had plates from prior customers. The floor had a fair amount of garbage on it. I have seen it in the past, where it was spotless, but today, it wasn't that way.

Thank you Panera for keeping the food amazingly good! Every time we order food it is always hot when it is supposed to be and fresh when it's supposed to be! Wonderful job to the staff! We have never had a disappointing meal!

There's a girl with long green dreads in the back that prepares food and does not wear a hair net. Not sanitary at all.

Two decades ago, Panera was the bee's knees as it were. The bagels were always crazy good, the food was healthier than fast food and of reasonable portion and price. Oh, and the coffee was above average for taste and quality.Fast forward to 2022-23... Oh, how time has not been kind. Price has increased quite a bit. That would be okay if quality kept up. Unfortunately, there's been a quality creep in food that most recently results in less than half a bowl of rice and humus when a Mediterranean bowl is ordered for $11 plus tax. Coffee is almost $3, and at least half the time, one or both carafes are mostly empty. The seats have torn upholstery, and the tables usually are in need of cleaning, but no such cleaning available. Also, once upon a time, Panera recycled. Not anymore, at least not at our local site here in Cookeville. And then there is the seemingly lackluster energy of many of the employees. I just don't get it.It's hard to spend money at an establishment that shows many signs of attrition and fatigue. I enjoy Panera for meetings over coffee, but I no longer enjoy spending money there because I find myself grumbling and grumpy too often from consistently underwhelming experiences.
