Sometimes She Flys

I always wanted to try this place, but after witnessing first hand, on multiple occasions, the horribly unkind manner in which the entitled owners and customers treat the owner at the Indian Palace by more often times then I can count, bolding and without regard, taking up the few, but at times ALL of her marked parking spots for HER customers --then get upset with her for wanting to have parking for those of us that treasure her authentic restaurant and her hard working, kind nature! I wouldn't want to be a part of such an ignorant class of people as I've seen going into the SILO after parking right under signs asking you to not park there unless you're her customers! How can you not see how wrong many of you are to act so entitled? There is NO excuse for this lazy behavior of the SILO patrons not wanting to walk a few extra feet, but instead read the signs marked Indian Palace Parking only,And STILL inconvenience those who are not able to park that are actually going to this business?! I can assure you, the owners of the brewery would feel different if this was happening to them, but instead they treat her horribly, so sad you can't see past you're own greed and gluttony to realize she is obviously such a hard worker and just wants her customer's happy and fed well!! Myself, family and many friends won't go to the SILO and will make it a point to share with everyone our experiences of the holier than thou, rude attitudes within those walls, you could be kind, but you CHOOSE not to, shame. I feel someone needs to stick up for this business owner after witnessing such rude behavior!Adding edit after Red Silo's response to my review: No, I'm sorry, I actually would not post a bad review without knowing what I was talking about and stating fact. I WATCHED people park in her lot and WALK into Red Silo multiple times. I also spoke with one of your patrons who said that "the owner and staff thinks it is funny when she complains about it." She has her parking lot POSTED CUSTOMER PARKING ONLY or you will be towed literally right where the nose of their car goes! If someone parks there, as did the supposed person that was in the other restaurant (how you knew this?) that is their fault, NOT HERS! The amount of entitlement just in your post alone shows you are not empathetic about the fact that the parking lot is HER BUSINESS PROPERTY it is not A PUBLIC STREET! It is for HER CUSTOMERS, not yours or anyone else's. She has worked at her business for decades and you come in and give her grief because she has a restaurant nearly a block down from yours that is posted no parking!? Maybe you could be kind and post in your establishment that if you have a car parked in her PRIVATE PARKING LOT it will be towed in order to help both your customers and be a decent business owner to another? No, because you are on your high horse and believe you and your customers are entitled? Seems so from those of us that try to park to go into her restaurant and can't find parking.

I Love Red Silo, this place is Awesome & is one of my favorite spots. Love the Atmosphere, & the bar staff is really friendly & Amazing. Their beer tastes great & they have a lot a varieties to choose from. Try & get here when they first open or early because this place does get really busy. They do have a food truck outside that serves really good pizza & parking is easy to find.

Awards well deserved. There is quite a diversity of flavor and approaches to brewing different beers for every palate. Live music on a Friday night was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and attentive, even though they weee super busy.

Haven't really ordered here as I don't really drink, but I've been in a few times to help collect donations for a local non-profit.The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant, and quite welcoming. Customers are nice, and it seems like a really nice business in the area.

Had two flights. One of their IPAs and one of their Belgium’s. All were fantastic! Had a hard time picking a fave. Great brewery. Highly recommend!!!

Updated: back again after 6 years. A huge selection of their own brews. Still a great atmosphere and cool vibe. And tasty beer.Craft beer new to Cookeville. A wide selection of brews and a little bit of a work in progress. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. A place to stop in when we visit again.

I wish they stayed open later- I visited on a Thursday and they closed at 9 pm. There were lots of people still there when I got there (around 8:45p) and I'm appreciative that they still served me. My selections of beer were all only ok, but maybe I just got ones that aren't their best (?), although I heard several people order the honey bear. I would go back and try other options to see if they have beers that I really like.

I came here with 2 of my business partners, very cool place and I am glad they brought me here. They have a nice indoor/outdoor seating area and they offer plenty of local draft beers. Staff was very friendly and patient with us as we figured out what to do, they had no issue offering us samples to help us decide.
