I love this place! Always accommodated me and my friends! We love to watch the games here! Great atmosphere, staff, and food! The wings are great and so are their burgers! I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed!

The tuna tar tar is spectacular! You have to try their fish and chips with vinegar slaw as well! Love the atmosphere and Steve Jones (bartender for 30 years) is a local legend! Everything is exactly the same in there as when I was in college and it is always nostalgic to return to!

Great bar and restaurant. Food is tasty and filling. We live 35 mins away and come here often. Declan is very attentive. We'll be back again

Waited 30 minutes for food. My Oriental Chicken Salad was some grilled chicken over a plate of bagged iceberg lettuce. Our guests had babyback ribs saturated in sauce with cold mashed potatoes on the side and tired cole slaw. No need to return.

The food here was incredible and the prices are very fair. The cocktails are quite tasty and they offer a wide selection of beer and wine.

Haven't been to spankies in over 5 years. It was a great experience then.
Went on 10/10/25 and was really disappointed w/ food. Everything seemed way too salty. I had grouper Dianne. Was dry & too, too salty. Had the spinach dip and it was dry & too salty. Tea was good, service was good, and atmosphere w a s good.
What happened to ya spank?

Was told they have the best fish&chips Drove over 90 miles . Got there our waitress was very kind and friendly, but was told they don’t have fish and chips. They’re out then. She comes back turns out we do. What was served to me was premade, frozen breaded fish pieces pond off as their hand, battered fish and chips. Absolutely horrible.. yes, I did tip our waitress very well and the bartender, will not see me going back.

Went here yesterday. The bartender was so rude. We are from out of town and stopped in for a drink and we may have stayed to eat but the bartender was too busy eating her pizza and talking with regulars and acted so annoyed when we asked a basic question that we decided not to stay. Food did look good but we were clearly not welcomed soooo…

The food was absolutely fantastic! The bread was the best I’ve had in a long time, perfectly fresh and flavorful. The spinach dip was amazing—creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The roasted potatoes were to die for, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. And the grilled chicken? Amazing—tender, juicy, and so well prepared. Definitely a meal worth coming back for!

Did not order any food so I cannot rate that. Beverages were fine they frequently run out of stock on Heineken & Dos Equis it seems. There is often live music & the stuff from bar maiden to security all seem well mannered.
