Meh ... People kept telling me they didn't care for it but I wanted to try for myself and it is the only hibachi at Chinese restaurant I know of. I'm used to choosing what sauces and seasonings I get on my hibachi. They decided for me and there was not much flavor at all my husband even said it tasted more Mexican than Chinese to him. very disappointing.

Ain't nothing bout this mf average, 2 adults can eat here for less than you'd blow at chick fil a, this place is off the chain, all the negative reviews are clearly karens or something, the sushi is way above par compared to any standard buffet sushi I've ever encountered larger too. The hibachi grill where you pick your own ingredients and the cool cat behind the glass whips it up for you in a jiff with whatever herbs & spices you would like is something I've never seen at an "average Chinese buffet" & I've extensively traveled the nation. This place is a gem & deserves a serious round of applause, I've dabbled just a bit with the normal buffet items as well and no quams whatsoever but the sushi and the hibachi are top notch enough I haven't even had to turn to the standard buffet items much. I've dined there and talked to folks from 2-3 hours away that came all the way there just for that buffet. I would wager this is the best Chinese buffet in Cookeville by a landslide, I used to go to panda garden where they try to peer pressure you out of there after a plate and a half & give you refills only filling your glass halfway once their ready for you to leave, needless to say you'll never catch me at panda garden again. My fiance has celiac disease and is obviously choosy with her items but legit has never had any issues following eating here which is a serious blessing as well.

I had been told by locals to give this place a try and I happened to be in the area, which finally made that possible. Unfortunately, the food was inconsistent. For being a Saturday late afternoon, that shouldn’t be the case. A lot of it wasn’t as hot as you would expect it to be. Food wasn’t being replaced consistently either, so there were several dishes that appeared to be sitting awhile, almost empty, and even some that had been overcooked. The good news is, I can check this place off my list. I also tried to capture the best picture’s possible of what the food looks like. So you can decide for yourself. I do know that everyone has completely different expectations so ultimately it’s better to conclude your own opinion.

This place is always inviting,especially with the fish pond. Lots of seating for any size party. They have a large selection of sushi ?, a personalized hibachi,buffet and even some southern classics like crawfish. When we went it was later at night,I would suggest not coming in late because the food is pretty old and dry. The waitress was very nice,filled our drinks quick and kept up with keeping our table clear of plates. All in all it's not a bad place,just not the best.
