Stopped by after a hike on our way back home. Guy was super nice and everyone was welcoming and nice. Fried green tomatoes were great. The cheese burger all had fresh veggies and was delicious. Definitely worth the money. Onion rings were also good. Food was great and the people were funny, nice, and welcoming. Only negatives is that they only habe standard beer and wine offerings and it's a smoking bar. Great atmosphere though.
We are from out of town and stopped in with our family of eight. Food was amazing!!!! I have never felt so welcomed anywhere. The patrons and staff were some of the nicest people we’ve met. You don’t get that kind of service in central Illinois. Before we left, we were told someone paid for our meal and drinks…for eight people! Someone also bought the bar a round of drinks while we were there. We left feeling so humbled. That kind gesture is something we will never forget...
The rib eyes are awesome here, and if you've never had their fried pickles, you've gotta go get some. But if you think you can throw darts, you'd better bring your A game because some of the patrons there are a better shot than Robin Hood.?
