“We ordered take out for our first visit this evening. Husband ordered the Habanero Combo Special, while I had the Beef Chimichanga Dinner. Everything was FANTASTIC. Ready on time, priced right, quality and quantity over the top. Since we're new to the area, we'll now be regular customers. We have enough leftovers for a quasi Huevos Rancheros for Breakfast. Kudos!!!!! Great job!”

“I really like the tacos and beer! The food is great and reminds me of southern Mexico and Guatemala. I often eat here in the evening after a long day on the river working. Also a great place for some beers, company, and Spanish practice Friday evenings. I almost forgot to mention they have the only handmade corn tortillas in town as well as the best homemade salsas.”

“Staff appeared to be confused and overwhelmed with only 3 customers in line (inside) and 2 at the drive thru. Breakfast sandwich appeared to be thrown together.”

“We placed a fairly large carry out order from El Rio for a group of us. The ordering process was straightforward and they captured everything in our order correctly. We asked for the meals to be split out by food type (i.e. enchiladas all together, burritos all together, etc) so we could serve buffet style. They called about an hour before we were scheduled to pick up just to confirm the order which was a good practice. The food was ready on time when we arrived, and they helped us carry everything to our car. Everyone in the group enjoyed the food, it was standard Mexican fare but it was well done and the flavors were good. We would definitely eat there or order from there in the future.”
