Just ate there for lunch today and it was the worst dining experience I can remember. Do not be fooled by the inviting atmosphere. We wanted calamari for an appetizer but were told that it was not available and the server recommended the crab dip. It appeared to be imitation crab sticks, chopped up and mixed with mayo, a little cheddar sprinkled on top and thrown under the broiler for good measure. It had no flavor and an awful texture. The look of the menu had us excited to eat dinner here. I ordered the lump crab dip that was described as fondue. It came out stuck to the cast iron skillet, dry, not cheesy at all with imitation, pink and white, grocery store bought crab that was so chopped up there was nothing lump about it. Had a great time eating at the bar with Ella and Paige. Their recommendations for both drinks and food were on point. Old-fashioned, fried chicken, beer and miso cod - plus brownie and cheesecake for dessert. Doesn’t that sound good!!! Happy new year.
