Doc and Deb are absolutely amazing people and I plan my trip around eating with them. Coming down tomorrow for a week so hopefully we can visit with them.

The best food we have ate so far on our trip. Super friendly people, cool atmosphere. Got the turkey and dumplings and it tasted just like home. Well worth the beautiful drive out from Gatlinburg. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy delicious smoked bbq, homemade cooking and an eccentric environment. Thanks Doc!

What a great experience!! Hidden Gem in the Smokies! Incredible food made from scratch by an incredibly kind couple with a truly fun and unique atmosphere!! There was another local gentleman playing really good guitar while we ate! Their made in house smoked pies were out of this world good! Sweet tea was also so darn good! Very affordable with generous portions what more could you even ask for? To top the whole great experience off we even seen a bear sleeping in the bush on the hill around back from the window of the bus while we ate! Don’t let the outside fool you. There is a great restaurant tucked in there in an old bus. Definitely give this place a try. Smoked pies are really good and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

We were heading towards Gatlinburg and passed Docs quickly. But managed to get the name and Google it. We were sold! We came back the next day for lunch. OMG!! THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! The chicken was tasty and the BBQ Sauce was yummy. Cole slaw Soup. Collard greens Cole slaw Corn bread The entire place was so awesome with memorbilia. You actually get to sit down and eat inside a school bus!!!! The woman and man who I assume are the owners Server an chef were so warm and friendly. If you don't stop you will be sorry. what a fun place with amazing food. I ordered the half chicken and almost couldn't finish. You can't stop looking around, so fun. Owners are onsite and you can tell how much they care. Take a trip out of Gatlinburg a few miles to get an unforgettable experience

went on honeymoon in gatlinburg/pigeon forge. we found this place and thought it looked cool. docs did not disappoint, super fun to eat on the buss, waitress was super nice, the food was AMAZING. would definitely go back!
